Stayed here for 3 night’s with a 8yo and a 5 yo. PROS: Best Vallet service; the attendant’s were all excellent and doing their best job and providing a great service. Overall clean property and well maintained. Check in and Check out were smooth. CONS: no room service exist here which was odd. First day I got the “at room breakfast” card which I updated and placed at the door. Next morning we had to start early for a day tour and I had to call and remind them 3 times before I got the breakfast and that also some items were missing. After that never received that Breakfast at room card again. May be that’s only for first day!! Room cleaning; not sure what’s their schedule for room cleaning. Came back after the day tour around 5-5:30 pm. Still room was not cleaned. Had to call them and request for room cleaning. After that for the remaining 2 days, didn’t specifically request and didn’t get room cleaning. This was odd. We had 2 small kids so we had lot of trash like bottles, chip packets etc and that got piling in the room. Odd that suck a big property and they don’t do room cleaning service everyday. Location is great! Lot of restaurant and food options nearby apart from the terrace restaurant.

Stayed with our family of 4. 2 kids, 6 and 8. Wanted to stay near Hermann Park and wanted to be walkable to a lot of eating since we didn’t have a car. Worked perfect. Loved the hotel restaurant but also enjoyed the many faster. It’s next to the light rail which is great too. For a city known to be a car city this spot worked recalled well for us (we did Uber a lot too). Would definitely stay again. The staff were super amazing. The rooms were clean and comfy.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary when we stayed at the Westin. We were blown away, our room was upgraded to a suite which was PHENOMENAL, they had put flower petals, champagne, candles and photos of us set up in the room when we arrived. The front desk called a few minutes after we got to the room to make sure everything was great after arriving. We felt like royalty the whole weekend, they even gave us complimentary drinks from the bar. It was AMAZING! I am absolutely coming back and recommending them to my family and friends!!

I got in from a late flight and headed to the 5th floor to check in. Check in was amazing, painless, efficient, friendly. My room is excellent and I fell straight into bed and slept like a baby. Would stay here again.

We brought my father in law for treatment at MD Anderson, staff was helpful, kind and the shuttle service is convenient and easy to use. The price is steep, especially knowing most guests are patients/family of the medical facilities near by. The parking is crazy high as well.

Property was quiet and offered plenty of amenities. Hotel was very clean. Room smelled like chlorine. I had to call to learn where their amenities were located in the hotel as I was not told during check in. One individual in valet was not considerate and was very pushy and we felt rushed while handling an infant.

We checked in without any problems and then proceeded to our room. I noticed blood on the fitted sheet so i called down to have it changed. We walked down to the lobby to let them know we would be at the bar waiting until cleaned. I asked for drink coupons for our trouble and she handed me one. I said there are two of us can i receive another and can i please speak to the manager. She left and returned with no supervisor but agreed to give me another free drink. After an hour we returned to our room to find that the bedding was not changed. I called down a second time to voice my concerns. I asked for a manager to speak with but that was denied. I stated we would go pick up dinner and return in an hour or so. Upon our return the bed was neatly changed. I pulled back the covers and.... THE BLOOD WAS STILL THERE! You have got to be kidding me! This is a hotel that is used by many seaking treatment at the hospital facilities around but they can not comply with basic sanitation????!!!! The original housekeeper and the one who pretended to change the bedding should be terminated! I do not feel that our room was ever clean to begin with. The bathroom had a used bottle of hotel lotion by the sink and weird looking marks on bathroom tile. (we wore our shoes). After three hours i finally had our bedding changed. The supervisor still refused to talk to me but "threw in a free appetizer" coupon for our trouble even though we were not hungry.i would never return

Stayed for a long weekend with my family. Location is unbeatable and close to the museum district. The valet service is totally worth it, and the folks (plus the system they use) were nice and responsive. Stayed in a King Suite but the room was just average. The tub stopper was broken and would not hold water. I had to ask them to come fix it twice, and it still didn't function properly by the end of our stay. The door to the bathroom which had a semi-translucent pane also let in a lot of light, making it difficult for light sensitive sleepers. One of our stools was also broken and my wife almost fell off, hurting herself. Overall - for the amount paid, the hotel left a little to be desired. Service and folks we interacted with though were really nice. The gym was great and the pool was solid.
