La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Hobby Airport

Got there at 9pm. 1 family checking in when we arrived. Took 15 mins to check them in. Took 15 mins to check us in. Then we get up to the room and the door didn’t work. The front desk lady didn’t believe me and was making it seem like I didn’t know how to use a key card. She finally comes upstairs to “check it” and lo and behold- the door didn’t work. So then she went downstairs “to figure it out.” Now we had been traveling all day and the last meal was lunch. The restaurant was closing at 10pm… Finally st 945pm she gets a completely different room- we had booked a double queen but all they had was a king. Needless to say we didn’t get to go to the closer restaurant- we had to spend money on an Uber. Not impressed with customer service.

This property in no way was a 4 or 5 star property. Save your money & go elsewhere. Front desk was a train wreck, keys to first room didn’t work, next room had zero AC so had to sleep with the door cracked to the hallway, tv remotes were missing the batteries. BTW we rented two rooms for our family & both were this bad.

My stay at this hotel was a pleasant experience. I was close to family and all the stores I like. I will definitely be back.

Shuttle was nice. Overbooked rooms and got stuck with something I didn’t reserve. Traveling with a family makes things like that hard

Staff was awesome, but too many roaches in the room. They were pregnant which means infestation. Little baby roaches everywhere at night . I woke up and they were like “Good Morning”!

This hotel is one of the best places we have been, I really recommend it, it is very clean, truly free of the smell of cigarettes, the cleaning service is excellent, it is very comfortable for the family...
