Comfort Suites near Westchase on Beltway 8

Capet had a gum thrown and stuck on my shoe. Elevator had missing floor numbers and button were broken. It was mentioned break fast included but no break-fast even after 48 hours of received power. Requested refund for 2 nights which I didn't use because of family medical condition, provided surgery letter. Email to the GM and teams no refund as per policies. swimming pool was dirty and not useful.

Good: location, cleanliness (visual), and the room was spacious BEWARE of check in process - the hotel tried to charge an extra $15/night/person for kids over 5 years old. This apparently happened with other customers too, please resolve this because it feels like price gouging after I prepay for everything and show up to check in and get asked to pay even more. Booked this hotel to go visit family and was very satisfied with the employees and front desk. People were really friendly and courteous and a big plus was the room was really clean.

Again it was an exceptional stay..kids got to swim at the pool and close proximity to Viet town and right next to the beltway and grocery stores walking distance..parking well lit at nite..we will be back again the next time we are in Houston

There was nothing for sofa bed in the room; pillows, sheets, etc.. I asked for them the staff was not so pleasing and later they gave me just two sheets and a pillow. Pillow was not clean. They said there is an outdoor pool open till 10pm. The pool was very dirty. There were a lot of leaves and insects in it. I asked the staff she said there is nobody to clean it. Later that night around 11pm when I return to the hotel same lady said pool is cleaned. Seats around the pool have a lot of tear some of them can not be used. My kids and I were disappointed.

I called a head to reserve connected rooms for my family.When I arrived, the rooms were sold out. Front desk told me that I can check back on tomorrow night. I checked again, they said that it was no rooms available even on the same floor to help my family can be closed together. I went up stairs and started seeing the room that is right next to my room are cleaning. I quickly approached to house keeping if guest had checked. Yes, the connected room is checked out. Meant, front desk didn’t care for my family convenience and didn’t tell the truth. On the other hand, my card key for two rooms didn’t work correctly, i had to ran down to front desk twice to get it activated again. It was little late when my family came home from dinner, keys didn’t work on third time again. I had to walked down and shown my frustrations, and requested if someone could walk with me and check if something is wrong with the doors. The front desk said “no” and asked me if i talked nicely with him, he might walk ( he said he is also the manager). Since it was late, and this is not the first time . And the experience about not telling the truth earlier the day. My temper started going up, but I try to maintain calm to get through the night safely. I start seeing lot of bad reviews about this place, and saw some about stole customers deposit money. I were little worried, hope it isn’t true. Really bad experience.

Extremely unprofessional and poor service feom hotel night staff. The room that was alloted to me and my family didn't have lights working. The lamp was flickering and the bathroom faucet had extremely low pressure. I am adding pics for reference but I have also taken videos. Unfortunately hotels.com was also not very helpful because they said they cant honor or refund until hotel approves it. You know profit is more important than customer service. Anyways I had really disappointing experience.
