Comfort Suites Northwest - Cy - Fair

Well we had to stay here due to a storm knocking out my power for a week. I chose this hotel because we also have a furry family member and they allow dogs. After I booked it, I called to confirm they had power and I could bring my dog and was told yes. I get there to check in and was told by the lady checking me in, I couldn’t have my dog. THEN after I questioned that and was told someone told me I could, she said yes, but you have to pay a deposit. Well, yes, I didn’t question having to pay a deposit which is typically how it is when you have your pet with you in a hotel. Then the next day, my family, dog included, were leaving for the day, someone stopped and asked me if I had a room there and that, “Oh” she thought I had checked out the day before. Like, what?! I just did not feel very welcomed there. Hurricane or not, we will not be staying here again. Positive-nice sized room/bathroom for my family

Front desk was rude and acted like she didn’t even want to be there. Was not informative during check in. Tried getting me to sign with the room rates not put in I had to ask her and write down the room rate- never just sign a blank paper without the correct pricing for the room rates. We were a family of 6 and made them aware of it but when asked for extra 2 towels she refused. Housekeeping never cleaned our rooms I took trash out. Will not stay there again or recommend.

Booked last minute and check in went so smoothly! Complimentary breakfast and coffee is surprisingly ample! Bed was comfortable, even the pull out couch bed. It was more than comfortable for 2 adults and 1 child. Ended up needing to stay another night and received a different room that didn’t have the pull out couch bedding set, but front desk was super nice and immediately got us one. Will stay again!

Continues to be a great place to stay on our routine visit to see grandkids!

The only thing was I felt like the walls were thin I have three small children and just them playing (not jumping off the walls) sounded more cause of the thin walls but other than that great clean place

We had requested adjoining rooms for our family. First the key to one of the rooms didn't work so we went back to front counter and asked for keys that would open our room. When we received the new keys and opened the door, i could see that the room was occupied. There were clothes in it with an unmade bed. They had to give us 2 separate rooms on the 3rd floor. They ended up charging for our reservation twice. They would not refund the our money for the first rooms because the money had already been charged to hotel.com. CS said we had to get the refund from hotel.com. My husband ended up wasting 1 1/2 hours on the phone with the 2 representatives from each business. We have still not received our refund for the charge made to the wrong set of rooms.
