My daughter brought me a used syringe she found under the couch cushion. We had 5 people and needed to use the couch bed but I finally had to put 3 kids in 1 bed while attendant looked for extra linens for the couch bed until 10pm (there were supposed to be some in the closet). Brown smears on walls. Shower covered in mold and mildew. Breakfast make your own waffles ran out of syrup by 8 am. Found ice bucket but couldn't find an ice machine and no cups in the room.

Service was good. Had options of food around the hotel and could walk to places. Staff are kind and nice. Very clean hotel. It even has a pool and a washer and dryer machines. I would recommend this hotel to families and friends

Awful experience with items in room not working or broken. The floor had a sticky substance on it that we could not get up, shower curtain was broken, toilet paper was bare and no tissues. The noises allowance was insane. We had a kid screaming in the hallway from 11pm-3am in which I called and complained. The next day there was a baby non stop crying. We left and went to another hotel

When I arrived, I was alone with my two little kids. It is in a sketchy area which is why I assume there is a gate. However, the gate is open all the time and does not close. The front doors also lock at 11pm. When we arrived, there was a clear drug deal that me and my kids watched occur. When we checked in, the guy at front was nice. the emergency button on elevator is broken. The rooms are dirty and gross. The breakfast was bare and the bread was so stale it was as hard as toast. However, when we checked out, I needed my receipt and could not just leave, but had to wait 20 minutes or more for someone to appear. I said hello loudly multiple times, I called the front desk on my cell about 10 times. nothing. Then a woman eventually strolled over without a care in the world. I explained I was now late and needed my receipt and wanted to leave. She asked how my stay was and I made it clear I was not happy. She said oh okay. Handed me my receipt and I left. I would have changed hotels, but I did not have the ability to cancel by the time we got there without losing my payment.

There was unbelievable amounts of hair on the floors, shower, bed & the swimming pool. Not just strands but chunks. Majority of our 7 day stay we left up the do not disturb sign, as we just set out dirty towels and asked for clean ones at the front desk. However 3 of those days we removed the dnd sign to get the sheets changed, toiletries & towels but all 3 times nobody came to clean. After the first time we spoke to front desk and they said “well note down your room number & have it done first thing tomorrow.” Which never happened. The gentlemen working night shifts was great, he got us what we needed promptly and was friendly. I said good morning to one of the younger girls working the desk one morning and she didn’t even smile or say anything back. I also understand the broken elevator is out of staff control. But when we arrived staff didn’t bother to mention it and watched us load up luggage for a family of 5 on a trolly and make our way to the elevator only to realize it was broke. Room 308s door is hard to shut, also. If not careful it can be pushed open if you don’t slam into it a couple times. I’m not sure if all bathrooms are like 308s but the tub sounds like it’s going to break thru.

The hotel itself was nice & clean. However, we didn't realize that we were going to be located in one of the more rougher locations. Cars are parked behind a gate that closes at 11pm. If you're out late you must call the front desk to identify yourself for them to open it.... Scary.... People around the hotel were walking at all hours, bums all over the place and the area is ran down. Looks shady, felt shady. However, there is a food town within walking distance(we wouldn't dare to venture on foot) it's close to a liquor store and a few fast food restaurants. The staff were almost 100% Hispanic and were predominantly nice. We had family that lives in Bay Town that were getting married which was the reason for our stay. Next time we're in the area we'll stay off of Garth now that we are aware of the options.

The price was great for a family with a low budget and with it come certain aspects. Our room did not get cleaning while we were there, we stayed three days and two nights. The dryer had two sharp screws towards the inside so I would not dare to dry my clothes and run the risk of being ripped while drying. The elevator was not working, thank goodness we were on the second floor, so not many stairs to take. On the positive side, breakfast was good! Our kids loved it. The staff was polite and friendly, making you feel like family.

Gross. Gross. Gross. Hair everywhere. Dirty. And we had kids and needed extra towels and bedding. They said we couldn’t have more towels and all they had were sheets for the pull out bed. Ants in the bathroom. Hair all over the surfaces and in the bed. Super disappointed. Napkins and chunks of stuff floating in the pool. Piles of trash by the elevator for days… need I go on?…. Checked off our list of “stay agains”.
