Holiday Inn Express & Suites-Dripping Springs - Austin Area, an IHG Hotel

Property could’ve been better maintained. Wasn’t super cleanily, and they seemed to be understaffed. Would not recommend this stay to family and friends unless it’s a last resort. The staff that was working was great, but unfortunately the property itself just wasn’t the best.

Overall, the stay was good. We were there for 1 night for a family event in the area. My husband got a fantastic night sleep which is a big win! Bed was comfortable and clean. The pool looked fun. The breakfast was really good too (fresh scrambled eggs, make your own pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, etc). Clementines & bananas available in lobby all day. We did have some complaints though. We didn't have much time to be in the room before our event but found out later that the room did have a broken toilet seat, no shampoo in the bottle, and the darkening shade didn't close all the way. The walls were somewhat thin as I could hear others next door - luckily that did not impede our sleep. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and took a little off our bill for the inconveniences. It was a good stay although I didn't think it was worth the $300/night we paid.
