Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas Downtown

The hotel was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and filling every morning. The hotel was very quiet. There were times my family and I felt like the only ones in the hotel. The only downside wasn't a ding on the hotel at all. We had to pay for parking a block up (or use valet) and there was a number of homeless and begging people around the entrance to the hotel. Some of them tended to get aggressive. Other than that, great experience in Dallas.

Our room was surprisingly small. There was a mechanical room next to us which seemed to take most of the internal space. Traveling with two adults and a child, room was too small to move around. Bathrooms by gym were very dirty. I reported this to breakfast people and it was still bad several hours later. Nice breakfast and area.

Our rooms was without heat for a day and power for another day. It was really hard to keep the rooms warm and the hallways were very cold. The elevators need a major overhaul or major maintenance as many people were getting stuck and we got stuck for 22 minutes as the doors were jammed and wouldn't open. The room itself was spacious and clean but rooms were very cold and kids had to sleep on the couch because the bed next to the window was so cold. Staff was great about trying to help but there was nothing that actually got fixed. Would be a nice place if the elevators were fixed and the heat was sufficient for the cold days.

Great location for the sights and centrally located to dwstonations in DFW. The front desk was great, breakfast meh and the rooms adequate. A suite was great to have with kids but rooms needs refresh in furniture. We'd stay again.

Location was fabulous for the Christmas parade and seeing sights downtown. All of the staff was very nice and helpful, the valet service was excellent and quick, and the rooms were very clean! Pool was a bit cold so the kids had trouble swimming in it while we were there.

Clean place to stay in downtown Dallas with friends or small children. Outside area is clean and we enjoyed the pool and breakfast. I would stay here again!

I loved how this place is downtown and after certain hours you can only open the front doors if you’re a guest. Elevators and the pool require a card key as well making you feel safe with children. Valet was on point and breakfast was wonderful. I definitely would stay there again with my family.

The hotel was nice. The staff was great. Breakfast in the mornings was awesome with two kids to feed before starting the day. My only real complaint is that the AC was not working in the room the last night of our stay.

We loved everything the hotel had to offer. The early hours of the pool was a great addition. My wife was not impressed with the bed, but i thought it was alright. Loved the large shower and rain shower head. The kids loved the shower too! The snack bar was over priced but that was the only real complaint.

This was a “babymoon” with our 2 year old toddler. We chose this hotel for the HEATED indoor pool. We were so excited to have some fun in the pool! Well we arrived on Wednesday and the pool was far from heated. Maintenance checked out the issue, said heater was broken and it would required service call. Every day we would ask front desk, maintenance, chief engineer is it fixed. We got the run around. Every day we checked temperature of the pool, freezing. They just blatantly ignored us. Even Expedia called them, they stated it would be fixed the next day. Lie. Disappointed is an understatement. We stayed Wednesday (3/29) Monday (4/3). If you are picking this hotel for the heated pool, look for another. Till this day, no manager has called me
