La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas - Las Colinas

Loved the bed. It was so comfortable! I got the best nights sleep. The facilities were clean and the kids enjoyed the pool.

I contacted Expedia that I have a family emergency today and was not able to make my trip. La Quinta refused to refund my pre payment of $112. That is not right for a family emergency.

Our room was great. 229. High ceilings, overhead fans, 2 tvs and plenty of room for the family.

I will say this I will never stay here again. We have stayed at this property 5 times now. We've always like this place even before it got renovated. Before the renovations we had an instance where we checked into our room and we noticed a roach in the bathroom and ants by the window on the first floor. We let the front desk know. She came to the room to look. Apologized and nicely gave us another room. This time around it was our first stay after the renovations. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. I tried to call the front desk but couldn't because the phone was not working. I walked over let her know and immediately got an attitude and asked if the room was used I said no because we hadn't even un packed. My kids had only sat on the bed and put some of our stuff down. She said she had to go look at the room, gets there and says we had used the room and pretty rude about it. I became irritated because we had just finished a 12hr. So I just told her that I would stay there but I would not be paying the full price for the 4 nights. All in all we got another that smelled like nail polish but we could live with it. Everything was going fine until last night and the night prior. I found a baby roach on the mirror and last night a bigger roach in the bathroom. Let the front desk know and all I got was oh did you let someone know and a oh I'm sorry. Now I know they do have a roach problem and the new owners suck. I will not be going back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel is close to DFW, and we could easily travel to Dallas & Ft Worth from this central location. Well maintained, & clean facilities/room. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

My family and I have stayed at a lot of LaQuinta's and I seriously thought this was an upgrade since they redid their lobby and rooms but I was wrong. When you enter into the hotel, I immediately notice the smell like something wet was left outside for to long. Checked in, the front desk gave me 2 key cards and my family and I went to our hotel room. One of the key card didn't work and we notice there was a smell in the room and just didn't think anything of it that maybe it was because the air wasn't circulating. But I was wrong because the first night, my daughter and I had an asthma attack and my family was coughing nonstop. We would spray room spray and went down to the front desk to see why our room smelled and the front desk person just looked at me and said there shouldn't be a smell. When we leave the hotel, our coughing subsided but when we enter into the hotel again, that's when we started having our coughing fit. We felt that customer service couldn't help us and our key cards just didn't work. We had to go back downstairs to get re-keyed. Then we learned that there was a water leak in the hotel a year ago hence that's why every floor has a humidifier on the wall. This place is a health concern. Our bathroom was small. The toilet isn't steady. It kept making noises when you sat down and the bath tub had stains and missing porcelain pieces.If you have bad health, you should not stay here. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I booked it just because the location is convenient for my trip, but I was thrilled. It is absolutely so clean and beautiful. Looks like a brand new hotel. I love the daylight lightbulbs and the Texas silhouette pancake are my favorite. My family love it very much! Staffs were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return and recommend to others.

Everything about our room was clean and nice .Beds are super comfy! Quiet location away from freeways. Easy access to everything around . Next time our family comes to Irving we will be staying here again .

Everything was very nice. If I had a complaint it would be that the pool did not open till 10:30 AM which meant my kids couldn’t take a quick dip before we checked out. Everything else was great!

Very disappointing stay. My family and I have stayed at this property on three previous occasions and all went well. Unfortunately, this stay was different due to the uncleanliness of our room and in particular the bedsheets that were not cleaned. When laying down flat on the bed, the sheets appeared white. However, when they were lifted up to move and the sunlight hit them, you could see brown spots, small and large, all over the sheets. It was disgusting. It wasn’t discovered until the next morning when we had already slept on those sheets. We took pictures but are unable to share them on this review. We brought it up to the front desk to inform the staff and were told that the manager was not there but would be given a message to contact us. He has never contacted us yet after phone call and email sent after our stay. Very sad to see the downgrade of this property, especially in the nice area it’s located.
