Comfort Suites Bastrop

My second night when I returned to the hotel around midnight, there was what appeared to be a homeless guy passed out on the couch in the lobby. The third night there was the same or a different homeless man smoking a cigarette hanging out under the canopy by the main entrance. It was not a safe feeling and I inevitably removed my expensive belongings from my rental car due to these 2 incidents. The parking lot is impossible to find, having to navigate through the McDonald’s parking lot to get to it. The breakfast was decent at best with the orange juice being out of service all week just leaving apple juice. Who other than 2 year olds drinks apple juice. The hallway was loud till after midnight with kids and adults yappin away and slamming doors.

Very enjoyable for our family’s recent wedding weekend.

It was disappointing after traveling that the pool was closed so the kids could not swim. The couch was in terrible shape with the fabric having stains and tears. The air condition took hours to cool off. The room was warm and humid for a LONG time before cooling off.

This hotel is new and is very clean. I like a comfy bed and mine was great. I would definitely recommend staying here. The breakfast was very good, too. My kids loved the Texas shaped waffles!

When we stayed at this hotel we had 3 children traveling with us. We all had an awesome time and we can not wait to go back. The beds are amazing and the convenience of having a microwave and fridge in the room was incredible. Breakfast there had everything you could think of and it was complimentary. All in all we would definately go back and also recommend this hotel to everyone.

Loved our stay!! The hotel was clean and the beds were super comfortable! The indoor pool was an added plus for our kids!
