Dirty and not well maintained hotel. It has deteriorated over the years. Pool is crowded an no kids friendly. Stains on the carpets. I would not stay at The Line hotel again.

What a cool hotel! The LINE Austin exceeded my expectations with its fun vibe in a location that was perfect for us. Our room was spacious, the bed super comfy, and we had an amazing view of the lake and bridge. Be sure to spend a little time at the amazing saltwater pool and the roof top bar! We had to cut our trip short due to a death in the family, and although working through hotels.com proved a bit time-consuming, ultimately The LINE and hotels.com waived cancellation fees and didn't charge us for the night we couldn't stay. That was very much appreciated.

The line is a very hip and wonderful hotel on the lake and river next to the Congress St bridge. It is very modern and very young. The only faults I found were the limited elevators and the lack of food services. It has a gourmet restaurant with very very limited menu and nothing else We ere upgraded to a 12th floor junior suite with a spectacular view of the river and bridge. Lack of amenities a side I would stay at the line the next time I am in Austin. .

I booked this trip for my son and daughter-in-law as a birthday/welcome back to TX getaway. I worked with guest services rep. Preston Whalen and every detail was attended to with perfection! Preston responded to my questions immediately and went above & beyond to make sure my family's stay was flawless. The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean, and they truly felt pampered and refreshed during their stay. My husband and I live local but are now going to plan a staycation at The Line Austin simply because the visit was so wonderful for our kids. I can't thank and recommend Preston Whalen highly enough to help you book a fabulous vacation of your own!

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We had a junior suite and it was beautiful. Loved that you can walk out and hike along Lady Bird Lake. Really enjoyed wine at Alta's. The only negative was that 6 cars were broken into in the valet lot overnight during our stay. The doors must have been unlocked because there was no evidence of a break-in.

I had an incredible stay at this property. They. truly went above and beyond. When I checked in Kirstee had an incredible way of greeting me and making me feel right at home! She was super nice, and had the best customer service skills I've ever experienced in Austin. She was the true honest reason I extended my stay. Bailey was so nice throughout the night, and was constantly asking me how my family (my grandmother is sick) and how I was, she made the hotel feel like a true home. I was shocked at how nice Jelmer was when I needed to switch rooms (they upgraded me), he came in and helped me get to my other room right in time before my work meeting. I TRULY cannot say anything negative about this hotel experience. It was fabulous, cozy, and amazing. I will ALWAYS stay here when I come to visit family. Thank you for making me feel like family!

The decor is outdated and stale. The rooms were decorated horribly and felt very cheap. Nothing like the vibe the website gives off...nothing. The pool bar/taco restaurant felt like a cafeteria for school children. Really, it did. The main bar/restaurant was nice though. Pool looked like a good time if you are into busy pools with a dj but not for me. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Nothing spectacular.
