Our experience was not great. We paid a premium rate and when we arrived at 6pm had to wait an hour to check in. We killed an hour getting dinner in the restaurant, again not great. Finally got into our room and the beds are obviously old and the carpet was soaked. I know, first world issue but we spent $200 for the room and the overall experience was not good. The one big positive is the bones of the place are good. I don’t think you’ll hear steps above you even with little kids.

The hotel was convenient to the family members we were visiting and provided a nice restaurant and bar. The staff were courteous and helpful when we needed anything. We will stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the doubletree. Very clean place with a great staff. I enjoyed the most comfortable bed while the children enjoyed the warm indoor pool. My family stayed a whole week and really enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean, nice room, friendly staff. In short, what you would expect from a solid well managed hotel. It is also conveniently located, on the main strip in Oak Ridge. Internet connection was running well, which is good if you are travelling on business or wanting to keep in touch with family.
