Home2 Suites by Hilton Johnson City, TN

I was on my way to East TN to see my neices baby that was in NICU. I left right after work from West TN. I was held up for 3 hrs on I40 because a state trooper pulled someone over & he was shot, so they shut down the interstate. Their website says nothing whatsoever about having to check in by a certain time. I arrived at the location a little after 3 am snd was informed that they canceled my reservation. The lady then told me she would have to recharge me for the room. I was not pleased with that and neither was my husband, so we left & stayed elsewhere. They will not refund my card!!!

Great stay- room was very spacious for our family of 5, very clean and the breakfast was fantastic as well. Definitely would stay here again!

Good clean and spacious room with a very friendly staff. Nice indoor pool and gym. The beds are comfortable and clean. Great stay all around. Only complaint would be the little ones can be heard running through neighboring rooms so not very sound proof but that’s very minor to us.

Hotel was very clean, and tidy. Staff were very friendly. My only complaints are that at night relaxing in room I could hear a few dogs barking for a long time, and a bunch of loud teens and kids and the bed was a little too hard for my liking.

Very convenient to all of the Tri-Cities area. Came in to town to visit family & surrounding areas. About a 10 - 40 minute drive to most of the tri-cities. 40 mins to Roan Mtn. 1 hour to Asheville. Rooms are VERY clean, highly accessible. Front office staff friendly and helpful. Great selection for a quick, well rounded breakfast. Options for microwaveable & quick snacks during late-night. Rooms are quiet and very spacious. Traveled with my partner and our 25lb dog— plenty of room for all of us! Kitchenette was a great addition to be able to cook if we would like, make tea, or store leftovers. Plenty of storage. Great price. Great location. Highly recommend.

Very nice clean hotel! We came to town for a baseball tournament. It has an Awesome lobby area where we watched the game and a clean indoor pool where the kids played. They have an outside seating area with a fire pit table and it was really nice. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked nice, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean HOWEVER Families with children should be required to stay on 1st floor only- listening to a zoo of 2 year olds run across the room , slam doors, run across room more is NOT appealing at all….

The staff was friendly, rooms and grounds were exceptionally clean. Only complaint was the bathroom of the queen suite was so tiny and the door swung in making it impossible to get into the shower unless the door was completely closed. Also our reservation showed our room would have a tub shower combo and it was just a shower (not ideal for small children). The pool was also very small and I felt the pictures were misleading. Those are design issues though and have nothing to do with the staff, whom we were very pleased with. The room itself was a great size for being in with two kids and the continental breakfast was great! Very pleased overall with our stay and will definitely look at another Home 2 Suites Hilton in the future if needing a hotel for other trips. The kitchenette and living space made it feel like a small apartment rather then a hotel room. Ideal for traveling with our toddlers.

Our family of 5 stayed for one night, and there was plenty of space for us. Beds were comfy, room was clean. Breakfast was decent - the breakfast sandwiches were kind of dried out, but there were plenty of other options. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

The room is clean and perfect for family. The staff are super nice and helpful.
