We got a family room and loved the third bed. Wish this was an option everywhere. Cute carved bears on the exterior. Only con was that our room was in an addition to the building & the setup was weird getting to the lobby. Great staff.

Overall, our stay wasn't terrible. First, there is no elevator - we travelled with an infant so we had to carry quite a bit of luggage and crib up a flight of stairs. We got the 1 bedroom suite which was nice to have a separate space for our son to sleep. However, the sheets were stained, the tissues were empty, there were lightbulbs out, and we could hear our neighbor snoring most of the night. The rooms themselves need a desperate update. Breakfast was fair with a good amount of options - including waffles, biscuits and gravy, and eggs. Positively, it is just a minute walk to a great restaurant and the desk person that checked us in was very kind.

Stopped here on our way through SD so the kids could swim. The pool was quite cold, but the hot tub was warm. The hallways had a strong, relatively off putting fragrance. The room and hotel were dated and could use some TLC and more thorough cleaning. Certainly not a terrible place to stay, but could use some improvements.

Stayed here on our way back to Rapid City. Chose it for the pool which was really nice for my kids. Hotel needs refurbishing/ maintenance. Carpets, rooms, bathrooms are worn and need upgrade. Several fitness center equipment pieces were out of order. Breakfast was good for continental.

The pool is definitely over chlorinated. Your eyes burn just being in the pool area but the kids loved it regardless. No roll aways available meant 3 to a bed with a family of 5. That’s always interesting. Overall nice. Very clean which is always great.

Perfect stopping point and hotel for my family and I as we were traveling across the state. The pool was great! Has a basketball hoop, platform in pool for younger kids about ankle deep, and a hot tub. Great breakfast too! Definitely check out Al's Oasis next door. Has cute shops, grocery store, and bar. Highly recommend!

Had a one night stay on the last night of vacation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the pool area with grandkids. Very clean place.

We reserved the room early morning Dec 21 and got in just as they were shutting down I90 around 6pm (not to reopen until Dec 23 4pm). Kurt and staff were fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area which we took advantage of day two was clean, the water clear and warm. There seemed to always be hot coffee and water available at all hours. We were all stuck there, couples, families, dogs, held hostage by the elements for 46 hours, and Kurt and staff took it all in stride doing their best to accommodate all of us as best as possible (given it was -20*, 30mph wind). There's a small cafe and grocer across the parking lot that opened for part of the day despite every road in the State shut down.

The room was pleasant and the temperature easily controlled. The pool had a fun design with a shallow splash pad type area and basketball hoop which my kids thought was cool, but the water was very chilly. I was hoping it would be heated. There was a hot tub that was working very well. The best part was the breakfast. There was sausage, eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt and more. It was a nice surprise.

Very disappointed with the pool- it was extremely cold! I mainly chose this hotel for this night while traveling because it offered a kids play pool and I had a toddler with me. Was looking forward to the pooltime to relax. We could not get in it. The spa tub was nice, though. Everything else about the hotel was very pleasant.
