La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Myrtle Beach - N Kings Hwy

I liked the location of the property in relation to getting around to local attractions. I thought the breakfast could have been a bit better as far as more hot options. The “queen” size beds appeared to be more like full size which was not very accommodating for my family. Overall it was a good stay.

Hotel was clean, just a little dated. Overall, for the price, we would stay again. Felt safe as a single mom with two kids, which is always my priority. Close enough to attractions without being in the middle of crowds.

The property was not clean, particularly the hallways. There were piles of of towels in hallways, piles of trash, and it was left for hours. There should be a system for cleaning, especially considering it appeared as though housekeeping was cleaning all night when our family was trying to sleep.

The hotel & staff was great, but didn't like paying for parking $5.00 at night and having to wait for wash linens to bathe with. Also, people who have barking pets and crying babies should be on separate floors and not allowed to visit other floors disturbing other paying guest.

The property is centrally located which was nice. The front desk person was pleasant and friendly at check-in. Down side: family that were in 3 rooms surrounding mine had 2 children younger than 5. The used the hallway as a race track and play ground. When they checked out the room next to me had a dog that was practicing it's barking skills at all hours. The worst part of my stay was when my big toe got caught under the bathroom door, ripping off my toenail and the first layer of skin. When i brought this to the attention of the desk clerk on duty sh laughed nervously and made a joke about the amount of blood that was on the bathroom floor. Otherwise, the room was comfortable.

When booking the king suite I was not expecting 2 separate rooms! It was great since we are traveling with our baby. We were able to set him up for sleep in the main room while we relaxed in bed watching Christmas Vacation.

We loved our stay at this property! The staff was so helpful and friendly with suggestions for places to eat and about easy access to the beach! It in walking distance!! Also the airport lost our luggage for a day and a half, the staff here was so helpful with letting us know when it was finally delivered and held it for us while we were out exploring Myrtle Beach! I will highly recommend to all my family and friends when they visit!! Thanks again! PS: The breakfast was delicious w/giant waffles and even healthy options of boiled eggs and wheat toast ;))

Was there for a baby shower. Property was clean, had a good set up for pets, staff were nice and accommodating. Close to restaurants as well. Would stay there again!

Summer vacation for my family was everything! From the full service breakfast to the beautiful pool on site and wonderful staff....We will be back!

When we got into our room, I noticed the cleanliness was not up to par. There was a peanut by the trash can, dirt in the shower, and miscellaneous crumbs/trash on the ground. There was also a sticky spot on the floor next to one of the beds. I gave grace and let it go since I know this is a very popular area and that the staff probably rushed to turn the room over. No big deal, as we weren’t going to be in our room for most of the day anyways. On the second night of my hotel stay (our last night), my family and I came back to our room to find a roach sitting on one of our beds. I talked to the front desk staff who offered me to switch rooms and gave me the opportunity to look at the room before moving my family. Thank goodness I checked, because there were beads strewn about, a McDonald’s cup behind the entertainment center, a drill bit, and loose screw laying on the floor. I have small children so this was a definite no. The next room I checked out had a dirty q-tip, coffee lid, and other trash behind the entertainment center, and even though there were still crumbs laying around, I just settled in order to put my family to bed since it was now after 10 at this point. We were leaving first thing in the morning so I accepted that no other rooms were going to be clean at this rate. This morning, we were suppose to receive a call about receiving compensation for the nightmare, but now have been told to wait for an answer tomorrow. Horrible and disappointing experience.
