The frames in the room were dusty, under the bed there were pieces of walnuts, and I was awaken by screaming children and children that were running, my room was across the ice machine and the children were unsupervised playing with the ice machine. The staff that was at the front desk when we arrived did smile, didn’t say hi, or welcome, it seemed moody. And to top it, we have to cross a dangerous street to go to the beach! Never again I will stay there, next time I rather pay more to stay somewhere else better.

Subject: Complaint about unclean room and lack of response from front desk
Dear LaQuinta Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. My family and I checked into Room 235 on Friday July 5th, 2024 and we were shocked to find that the room was very unclean. There were spots all over the doors, hair on the bathroom floor and there was dust and debris all over the room and bathroom. The bathroom sink and tub was drenched in build up of dirt and mold.
We immediately notified the front desk staff about the cleanliness issue, and they assured us that they would send someone to take a look at the room. However, no one ever came to address the problem, and we were left feeling very uncomfortable in a room that was clearly not up to the standards we expected from LaQuinta.
As a loyal customer of LaQuinta Inn & Suites, I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service we received during this stay. I trust that you will take this complaint seriously and take appropriate measures to ensure that this type of situation does not happen again in the future.
I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a response to this complaint and let me know what steps you will be taking to address the cleanliness issues at your hotel.

Enjoyed my stay with my family as we began our summer vacationing tripes. The hotel was well maintained and the staff members were super friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to those traveling to Myrtle Beach. Conveniently located within walked distance to the beach, family entertainment and dining.

I liked the location of the property in relation to getting around to local attractions. I thought the breakfast could have been a bit better as far as more hot options. The “queen” size beds appeared to be more like full size which was not very accommodating for my family. Overall it was a good stay.

Hotel was clean, just a little dated. Overall, for the price, we would stay again. Felt safe as a single mom with two kids, which is always my priority. Close enough to attractions without being in the middle of crowds.

The property was not clean, particularly the hallways. There were piles of of towels in hallways, piles of trash, and it was left for hours. There should be a system for cleaning, especially considering it appeared as though housekeeping was cleaning all night when our family was trying to sleep.

The hotel & staff was great, but didn't like paying for parking $5.00 at night and having to wait for wash linens to bathe with.
Also, people who have barking pets and crying babies should be on separate floors and not allowed to visit other floors disturbing other paying guest.

The property is centrally located which was nice. The front desk person was pleasant and friendly at check-in.
Down side: family that were in 3 rooms surrounding mine had 2 children younger than 5. The used the hallway as a race track and play ground. When they checked out the room next to me had a dog that was practicing it's barking skills at all hours.
The worst part of my stay was when my big toe got caught under the bathroom door, ripping off my toenail and the first layer of skin. When i brought this to the attention of the desk clerk on duty sh laughed nervously and made a joke about the amount of blood that was on the bathroom floor.
Otherwise, the room was comfortable.
