Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Providence-Woonsocket, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here with my kids , we loved it . So clean , staff super nice .

everyone was very polite friendly,helpful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay . will use them when I return to visit family

This hotel houses homeless people in addition to out of town folks as myself. The clientele that were in the breakfast eating area this morning were high on drugs and acting with erratic behaviors. It felt unsafe and unclean. I would not recommend this hotel. I would have liked to have been informed with this disclosed prior to booking this hotel for my children and me.

My family and I had a wonderful stay . Love the pool and nice and quiet . Very convenient area close to tons of things .

My daughter & I purchased a room on Xmas Eve for her friend who had just recently become homeless for 2 nights. The weather outside was almost below zero, it was freezing out & he had nowhere to go. Got him checked in, went up to the room and it was ice cold! The thermostat was at 58. I adjusted it & set it to 80 to get it warm. The next day & the day after that, my daughter tried many times to call the room & got no answer. Come to find out the phone in the room wasn't working! What has me annoyed is when she would call the front desk to transfer her to his room the front desk person was acting annoyed on both days. That's your job, customer service! Then when we get there to pick him up the room is STILL cold!! He said he went down to the desk and told the person working that the heat wasn't working. They told him he had to adjust it in his room. No duh! He told them that he did that & it still wasn't working! What did they do, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! He was in there for 2 days with no heat. Our purpose for purchasing the room was so he could have a warm place to sleep & be safe. Granted it was warmer in there than it was outside but to have the staff not do anything & then not know that their phone line was down in that particular room, furiates the hell out of me! Then to be acting annoyed when calls are made for them to transfer makes me even more angry! I usually use this hotel when we have family come visit but I may rethink that next time. I'll drive the extra 20-30 min

The stafff was really nice. Check in was great. The staff personally came to us were my kids were swimming to say they baked fresh cookies if we wanted any. Breakfast was great!

The hotel is very clean and the desk staff were welcoming and very nice. The full breakfast in the morning is a huge bonus - it is well stocked, clean and the food choices are varied and very good. Maid service was iffy - cups, etc in our room were not replenished and the room next door which I had reserved for family was never refreshed at all. Overall an excellent exeperience at a very low and reasonable price. The pool was heavily clorniated and very hot.

This hotel was a wonderful spot for our family. The hotel was clean with no strange smells. The free breakfast was all that you would expect from a free breakfast, but I have it on good authority that cinnamon buns were delightful. The rooms were very clean, and I did have the pleasure of talking with a woman on the cleaning staff who was extremely nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is with the overnight desk worker, another visitor had called her Tiffany, but I did not get her name. From the time we checked in until the time we checked out she was very rude and dismissive over simple things. She seemed most disturbed when guests would have questions and she would have to stop looking at her phone. We stayed for three days and two nights. Her demeanor was the same throughout, and honestly made us not even want to walk by the front desk. The stay besides that rude service was delightful and I would still recommend.
