Bally's Twin River Lincoln Casino & Hotel

We had issues with check-in and getting access to the separate hotel parking area. We had issues with the front desk on our second day of the stay. I asked the desk clerk "IF" we wanted to check out early, would there be any impact. He CHECKED ME out ! I think this hotel is best for gamblers that want a room to crash in; not for a family vacation.

Not good for stay with kids, except the pool. No where they can go to eat, all restaurants are in the casino. No breakfast or coffee available. Cable cut out every 15-20 minutes. Hotel is clean, but beds were uncomfortable and rooms are VERY small.

The pool was closed. Came so kids could swim. Followed to the restaurant.

This property should say not kid friendly.

Our experience from check in was disappointing. One of the ladies at checkin was extremely rude. Also we were up all night because the room next door to us had a child that screamed for the entire night.

We had a king size bed and the room was clean and we enjoyed the size of the room. Given the culture of the hotel with the casino I did miss having the option of a bible in the room, but I'm sure we would be the minority for the purpose of our stay, as we were there for family event.

The hotel was very nosey. Small kids screaming and running and then people talking and making noise at 3 & 4 AM when coming back from casino. While I understand that this is a casino environment, there was nothing to ask the patrons to keep the noise level down especially in the very early morning hours as others are sleeping. This was my first stay here and I have stayed at many other casino resorts and have never experienced this. There was no breakfast served and if you wanted breakfast you could go to the casino to Dunkin Donuts which was 24/7 or food court when they opened at 11AM Very disappointing stay for me. Getting away on vacation for R & R was not in my cards this trip.

Be aware that children under 18 CAN’T get anything to eat in the Casino. They are not allowed to enter. You either have to get it to go or they can be escorted to the 2nd floor restaurants ($$$$). There were 3 of use and they only supplied 2 towels daily. Trying to save on laundry. The room itself was pretty standard and ok.

Although they are in the middle of renovation, the hotel is beautiful checking was quick and the staff are friendly. I don’t like the fact that you have to walk Through the smoke and the casino to go to the non-smoking section. Hopefully after the renovation they decide to put a daycare or some thing fun for kids to do on premises other than the pool.

Overall the stay was very pleasant. The check-in and check-out process was very efficient. I was disappointed that the soaps etc in the rooms were not hypo-allergenic, as I personally have a negative skin reaction to soaps with essential oils such as lavender. I also was very disappointed that there was not a way/not allowed for me to bring my child into the food court. I was under the impression the hotel itself was welcoming to family’s with children. Yet there was not even a “store” available for snacks/beverages etc that was not located in the casino.
