Holiday Inn Johnstown Downtown, an IHG Hotel

The service here is amazing. The staff is so friendly. The restaurant is nice and the pool was huge. The only issue we had was that different people at the restaurant applied the kids eat free differently. They need a cohesive policy.

A band was playing with loud bass music until 11 pm the night my child and I stayed there, 2 floors below us. It was posted 10 pm was quiet hour but clearly not the case. Very bad experience as a result as we were exhausted from poor sleep, despite speaking to the front desk.

The hotel is nice. It's clean, and it's really well kept. The rooms smell clean, the staff is nice but made a lot of mistakes that were really upsetting. CHOOSE ECONO LODGE OVER HERE. They gave me a better room when I asked, prices were better, and very accomendating. At the Holiday Inn a LOT went wrong. I arrived and was given keys and told "if they don't work, come down it's been happening a lot".. ok no problem (this has happened everywhere all summer)... THEN I FIND OUT from a CUSTOMER.. I was trying to key into A ROOM SOMEONE WAS STAYING IN! THIS IS SO UNACCEPTABLE, ANYTHING COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO ME... 3 trips back and forth to the desk with FOUR heavy bags... and I get into the room,... and it's the wrong one. "We upgraded your stay!" despite ordering TWO beds we got 1 bed, no pull out.... "we're sorry we're all out of those rooms" Well I needed two. They found a way to give us a pull out and king.... someone came up and gave me keys (my request).. THEN... didn't help me carry my 4 bags.. THEN even though "the room was inspected and cleaned"...... the PULL out bed was DIRTY. No sheets either. Another trip to the desk. Made bed myself....my 72 year old father is in so much pain from sleeping in the pull out bed. We CHOSE this hotel because it was nice. This was a treat for my family and I HAVE never been so upset and disappointed with a nice hotel.

Awesome location with a friendly staff. Pool is great for kids.
