It’s a really beautiful hotel. Unfortunately the floor we had there was a lot of kids running up and down the hall. Their parent were just sitting down and the kids running wild we just wanted some rest but that wasn’t really posible.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on a trip to Pittsburgh in December. The main reason for choosing this hotel was the great location and a large swimming pool (checked from the website) for my children to play. The pool water was warm but the heater in the pool area was not so it was really cold — so we only did swimming ~20 min only. Now look… The biggest problem was the serious noise of the heater in the room!! It was so noisy that my whole family couldn't sleep well. Imagine that you wake up every 15 min when the heater turns off and on. Now I got back home so I can have a good sleep which I lost for 3 days… One good thing was the night view.

The room was clean, but for the price I would not stay here again. The hotel was extremely noisy, lots of drunk people roaming the halls, we could hear cars revving, horns blowing and people yelling outside. One elevator wouldnt work in the morning. We had to call twice for an extra blanket...we only got one towel in the bathroom for a family of 4. We checked out early morning and just went home.

It’s a sad little throwaway hotel that Marriott treats like an unwanted step child.

The room pictured on the Hotels.com website was NOT the room we received. The room pictured was already booked so we had to stay in a smaller room. The room pictured, that we were expecting, had a kitchen area and large table. Ours had neither. The room was dated and not well cleaned. There was thick dust on the lights and some ledges. The shower curtain was stained, but not as badly as the carpet. My child’s white socks were dirty after walking around in the carpet. We stayed out of necessity. If I did not have to attend an event at the hotel, I would have gone to another. The staff was kind and friendly, but the hotel needs a thorough cleaning or a remodel.

Despite boasting renovations this hotel is a disaster. Their entire focus is on events. They have an online ordering system for room service that takes orders, is advertised in the rooms but doesn't actually work. The breakfast buffet made my family sick. The bathrooms have no vent. You can hear everything between the rooms. Common to have to wait 15-20 minutes for the elevator. All told, I would avoid this, you can do way better for $275 a night.
