Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/Greentree

Honestly, the staff here was so friendly and welcoming. Very helpful to us as a family with suggestions of where to eat locally. As we were all in town for a funeral. However, our room in-particular was not the cleanest. I ended up cleaning the tub and bathroom myself before we could shower. Dust in the main room, and carpet not vacuumed.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in our room and everything was in fine working order. Bed was comfortable, but what's with the mini pillows?? Plus we had a king bed with only 4 pillows. We are accustomed to 6 pillows on a king. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare. The seating was weird though. I sat down on the sofa-like bench and the table came to my chest. I felt like a toddler at the grown-up table. The property is quiet. It's also hard to find. The driveway is very dark (there were lights but they weren't lit) and you have to make a sharp turn from the street to access it. We weren't sure we were even in the right place. The desk clerk was very friendly and personable and made us feel welcome. Would stay again, especially since we know where it is now.
