Hampton Inn & Suites Grove City

The hotel was overbooked, but gave us a room that was “under maintenance”. Since it was the local schools graduation weekend all hotels were booked, so this was very much appreciated. That is until we got to the room and it had no curtains (which they fixed by giving us clips and a comforter to manipulate into somewhat of a curtain….which by the way meant climbing up in the windowsill to be able to even half cover the window for light, but at least we had privacy.) And honestly we shouldn’t have even bothered. It appeares as though someone was laying in one of the beds (head indent in the pillow and wrinkle spot on the cover where a bottom would have been). Then we went into the bathroom to find a dirty towel hanging on the hook and a WET floor mat outside of the tub!!! If I didn’t have hopes up we would not have stayed, but I promised my kids!!! We did leave the hotel immediately and bought everything I needed to clean and sanitize the room. Made the hotel give new linens, shower curtain, pillows ext. and spent the first hour of my stay once back in the room cleaning to make sure we were safe!!!!

The hotel itself is very nice. Front desk staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms themselves are not overly wonderful, bit dated and probably could use some refresh. We could hear the family above us the entire night - which made for not such a restful sleep.

The front desk personnel were friendly. Room and bathroom were spotless. Coffee and breakfast were plentiful. We stayed the night as a fun treat for the kids. We all had fun swimming and relaxing in the hot tub. We will definitely consider this hotel for the next time we do this.

This Hampton is my only choice when visiting family in the Grove City area. Does show its age, but staff are awesome. I don’t know what is meant by “eco-friendliness” and since this survey wasn’t likely designed by someone with any knowledge or training in social science measurement there was no option for “don’t know” or “not applicable” so I provided a terrible rating suspecting that if it’s important enough to place on the questionnaire, it’s of high enough importance that this should have been made obvious to me while staying at the Hampton.

My family and I visited and stayed for 3 days/2 nights. Upon arriving the receptionist was very friendly - there was a mishap with my reservation and I was overcharged however that was fixed without an issue. Our room was very spacious and clean however after the first night housekeeping didn't come to our room so our beds were not made, no towels were provided nor was there replenishment of any toiletries. I had to go to the front desk to get more towels. Our room was a ground floor room and there were no sheers on our windows which meant we couldn't leave the drapes open for sunlight (with a little privacy) otherwise people would be staring right into our room - we faced the parking lot. Along with that the blackout drapes did not draw closed all the way which left a gap. I was also surprised that there was no safe in the room to keep valuables. The shower was a little difficult to switch from the tap to the shower head - water was coming out of the spout as well as the shower head which affected the water pressure. We enjoyed the facilities and the swimming pool was nice however the jets in the hot tub were not working. We still used it but it would have been nice to have the jets on. Overall it was a good stay - the beds were comfortable, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was great. The breakfast staff were also very kind and offered to cut apples for my daughter which she loved.

The staff was very accommodating for my family and I, we were there for a wedding. Several family members stayed in the same hotel and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time! Annie at the front desk is awesome!

We found 2 pills and a bullet in our room. They were not even hidden, they were right on the blanket on the first bed when you enter the room. We had our one year old, two year old and four year old with us. Imagine if one of then would have swallowed any of that! They offered to vaccum our room, that was IT! My family will never be staying here again, 0 out of 10 recoomend. Worst hotel I've ever been to.

Friendly staff and the pool was open until midnight, which was a blessing for the kids. Highly recommend this hotel.

I stay here always when I'm traveling to visit family because it's a long drive. Hotel is always clean and in great shape and the service excellent. The hotel was a bit less up to par this time, probably because the hotel was totally filled, and the staff seemed totally swamped. But they remained very friendly and I would still recommend this hotel and I will stay at it again in the future. Cost of room was up, but they are everywhere with every chain--inflation.

I can not say enough in how nice, friendly, helpful the staff was at this facility. The biggest thing for me when I travel with my children who are 8 and 12 is how they staff interacts with them. I have never stayed at a facility this WONDERFUL! They really made me stay! Personable and treated my boys like little adults. Thank you!
