Hampton Inn & Suites Hershey Near The Park

Very nice place stay. Room was very big 3 older kids plus mom & dad. Beds comfy. Good breakfast too. Very clean hotel. Highly recommend only 2 miles from Hersheypark too.

This was by far the WORST hotel experience I've ever had! It started after check-in. I was double charged ($4040 total), we were locked out of our room THREE days in a row because the computer said I never checked in the 1st night, then the computer said I didnt PAY (even though I paid TWICE)! Im not sure why the front desk doesnt use half a brain when they knew I was physically there AND paid! There was only 1 staff (Shay)and the Assistant GM who had to get involved who were at least apologetic and knew that the hotel was in the wrong. We didn't receive room service so we inquired and were told every other day so we waited and because the computer said we were not there they never came. We were then told at any time we can get extra towels and washcloths but when we asked that night were told by Eubere that the housekeeping didnt do their job and there were none clean that he could give us! However we found out the next day that he was too lazy to go get them as they never run out. We also were walked in on (used her key) by housekeeping because she thought our room was empty too. There is also a loud banging noise in the wall after using the hot water in the shower and it goes on for hours! Pull out couch was broken and never laid flat, so those family members had to sleep folded up and uncomfortable for SIX nights!! Absolutely unacceptable customer service and the manager/assistant manager just hide and let the front desk deal with it all. Do NOT recommend.

We stayed here to attended a concert at Hershey Park Stadium. It was a very convenient and quick drive to the park and stadium, Tanger Outlet and restaurants. The Inn is clean, everyone was polite and helpful, we enjoyed our two night stay. The pool and pool area were clean, however the water was a bit too cool, kids that were currently in the pool warned us it was really cold. It was uncomfortable to even hang our legs over the side into the water, we didn't linger long there. Over all, I'd definitely book a stay here again, thank you!

Excellent place to stay for families headed to Hershey Park. The complimentary breakfast was great, the pool was clean, the staff was very friendly, the room was spotless!

Highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back! The suite was perfect for our family, with the bathroom and kitchenette area between the bedroom and couch area so we could put an inflatable mattress there for our toddler and separate the kids at bedtime. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They clearly enjoyed having kids around, which you don't always find at hotels. Excellent breakfast and perfect for kids.

The staff was super nice, especially the staff at breakfast. They are dealing with a lot of families and small kids and they were so kind and pleasant no matter what. When we checked in, it was so late and our kids were so tired but the front desk was a absolute pleasure. Rooms are dated but clean, there's only 1 elevator but it's a small hotel with only 3 floors. The pool was a nice size and they refilled the towels and kept the bathroom very clean.

Room is fine except that there was no tv in sitting area of suite. We paid higher suite price so kids could have quite space to sleep while we could watch tv in separate sitting area since they sleep earlier than us. Also, room still wasn't ready at 5:00 pm. First impressions are not in line with great reviews I read before booking. Front desk says they would give discount for no tv if I had booked directly with them and not thru Expedia. This is the first experience at a hotel in forever for my family. Sadly, less than stellar and I simply expect the bare minimum. Such a bummer.

Our first room had a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom, obviously not a new one. Our second room was considerably smaller, had dirty and crooked mirrors, stains on the bed skirts, cracks in the tub, old fixtures. The main amenity we came for, pool and hot tub, didn’t have a hot tub and the pool was so cold my kids couldn’t even get in. For the exorbitant price I was charged, this property was a complete disappointment. I would not recommend

I arrived to check in and was asked to take a king bed with a couch instead of 2 queens and a couch. When I said that i preferred not to share a bed with my child I got eye rolls and well theres a sofa bed. I didnt pay for the more expensive room to sleep on a sofa bed. Also the whole bathroom wall was vibrating not sure if it was a water pressure issue ir what but being woken up multiple times in the night isnt pleasant. But atleast I got the front desk response of were sorry travel safe lol. I wont even mention the hockey team playing in between the cars in the parking lot. But it is cloe to the park. No traffic and also a straight shot.
