Our room was dirty. Food all over the floor, feet were dirty if we walked around without shoes. The water was SO scalding hot it was dangerous. It could literally take our skin off. Our temperature knob in the shower was broken, so you had to keep it turned in the “up” position or it fell down and the water turned to scalding. Was trying to bathe my daughter and the water temperature knob fell and the water turned scalding and I had to pull her out quickly. Truly should be looked at - very dangerous for everyone but especially kids. The room all around was not in great condition - dirty and disrepair. I wouldn’t come back unless I had no other options.

Staff was excellent and caring for our extended family who was there for a prolonged stay. Can't say enough good things about how much we appreciate Eric the manager and Kayla at the front desk.

The rooms are way too small for the price. Two adults cannot walk by each other in the room (we had a 2 queen room) which was very annoying given it was two adults and two kids. Everyone had to sit on the bed for anyone to be able to walk throughout the room. I am not sure I have ever been in such a small room, especially for the price. I cannot believe I spent what I did on these rooms. Room cleaning is only on Monday and Thursday. We have a kid in diapers so that was a pain since the trash cans in the room a tiny. No good take out containers for breakfast to take to your room. They want you to just carry a plate throughtout the hotel. The breakfast room is a very nice size and the staff was very friendly.

I had a terrible check in! My husband and I drove almost 6 hours and by the time we got to the hotel we were exhausted and just wanted to check in shower and sleep. The first room we got had a double bed which isn’t what we paid for. We went back down to the front desk and I kid you not this happened 3 more times every room we got had a double bed!!! Finally the 4th room had the correct bed but the TV didn’t work. They sent someone to fix it and it finally worked but we were so frustrated, tired and disgusted with this hotel. And as we layed down and looked up at the ceiling it was falling apart. This is Crown Plaza Hotel we chose it because they are supposed to be one of the best but we were truly disappointed and will not use them ever again.

Great stay in south hills for family and PNC Park stay. Took public transportation to PNC. Shopping and restaurants are aplenty. Staff are great.

My family and I just got back from a 3 night stay at the Crowne Plaza. We went out to Pittsburgh to visit Fallingwater as well as the Downtown locations and this was a perfect spot for both. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely courteous when we needed directions and/or recommendations for places to eat. The only two reasons I gave it 4 out of 5 stars overall was because their internet service kept going in and out the whole time we were there(not a big deal for a vacation trip but for business travelers this could be an issue) and because they don't offer any type of free breakfast with the room. (Most hotels these days at least put out a continental spread for their guests). Other than these two minor things, this hotel is superb and comes highly recommended.

I flew into Pittsburgh to spend a very short weekend with family, and we all stayed at the hotel. The hotel staff was very accommodating in keeping us together, and after having some issues with our tv remote, someone came up immediately and resolved the issue. I was very pleased with our stay and would definitely return.
