Courtyard by Marriott Portland Tigard

Was very surprised by the parking charge as it was unsecured and obviously open parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was conveniently close to family and major interstate.

The hotel was really nice- Our family of 4 had a weekend get-away in the greater Portland area. Courtyard was conveniently close to the freeway, but no freeway noise - rooms were comfortable (one complaint was the beds were a bit too firm for me & mrs.), TV was nice, indoor Pool & Jacuzzi was open late (11pm) which was great for our teenage girls to swim & soak. - It was clean without being extremely chlorine-y. Towel service by pool, so you don't have to worry. Workout room was bigger than average, though we didn't take advantage of it. Starbucks was just on other side of parking lot (maybe 40 yards away from lobby door).

I always choose this bowl when I'm in town visiting family. It's clean, and very quiet. The staff is especially friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
