Residence Inn Portland Downtown/Pearl District

This is our second stay in a week. We are visiting family and have been very comfortable here. We especially enjoyed the breakfast and the lovely courtyard. Every employee we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Lilia was particularly great!

Just stayed with my two little kids and husband. All of us loved the place for everything! Breakfast bar was decent for us to get the day started and the convenience of the location of the hotel was nice. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect from street parking to breakfast to the front desk staff and especially the breakfast team. We came for my son’s birthday and they made it all extra special. We also ended up needing to move to a 2 queen bed room and it wasn’t a problem at all. It was quiet, comfortable, and we will absolutely be making this our hotel when we come to visit family in portland.

50$ parking surrounded by homeless people . WOULD NOT bring kids here ever again

Clean, friendly staff. Rooms have everything you need. Nice self serve breakfast. Fun Salt water pool, great for kids.

We were in town for a Trailblazers game. Easy walk from the Amtrak station. Friendly staff and clean hotel. The breakfast was great and helped get your day started. The lobby store had a nice selection of grab and go items (beer, wine, drinks, snacks). We enjoyed the extra beds while we have two teenagers. Our family will stay again.

I was bitten over 15 times by some type of bug in the bed at night and my daughter was bitten multiple times as well, which impacted her sleep even after our stay ended. My bites match bed bugs, but before an investgation could even be done, the man at the front desk tried minimizing my concerns, which was not helpful. Then when I very calmly asked that something be done to compensate my family for this (I would have to treat all of our luggage as if it had been exposed to bed bugs and also you know...sleep with itchy bites all over), he tried giving me a goody bag with two bottled waters and a bag of vending machine popcorn. This is what you give the hungover bride after she checks out from her bachelorette weekend. Of course I said no! I demanded the manager, who was much more helpful and actually seemed to care about our stay. She said our stay would be comped. Great. Except it was not. I still ended up having to call guest services when we got home and they said, "oops! we will fix it." I should not have to chase down my money, I should not have to decline popcorn as a peace offering, and my daughter and I should not be bitten in a hotel as nice as this one appeared to be!

Suite was great for a multi age family. Breakfast had excellent choice and was enjoyed by everyone. Swimming pool was clean and in good condition.
