Hampton Inn & Suites Portland-Pearl District

Wonderful hotel, the staff was amazing. The general manager, Alona, helped out when I encountered a few issues with a booking. The receptionists were extremely friendly to everyone, and one of them (I didn't catch his name, unfortunately), had a bunch of stickers and bubbles for children. Our party really appreciated the hot breakfast buffet and the rotating selection of sausages. Only negative was one morning the shower water temperature didn't get hot enough, but this was during a very busy day and I got a hot shower later in the day. Will book again next time I'm in Portland!

Prime location, valet parking was handy, very clean and family friendly

Having a great breakfast and coffee available. Friendly staff and everything was beautiful and clan inside and out. The rooftop was wonderful. You do need a comfortable place to have a cigarette and coffee available. Absolutely no complaints from my family. We did wish the pool was open a little later for our late arrival. Thanks for a terrific experience and a good night sleep. One thing! Your overnight parking was a little expensive but understandable since you need staff to park and bring rhe cat around! Thanks again!

Nice clean mid week. Many kids on the weekend was a bit hectic

The property was nice, the valet situation gets hectic ( BUT THEY DO A GOOD JOB AND DO THEIR BEST TO MAKE IT EASY!). Genuinely really nice staff there. The pool looked super cool, the patio was nice too. Downside to the niceness is that it was full of families with loud and rude children.

Would stay here again for sure. Travelled with family to sightsee Portland. Lots of great dining options within walking distance or Lime bike scooter (which used extensively and think was the highlight of the trip for my teen!). We chose valet parking as the alternative was to park on the street and we didn’t want our car broken into (we did see a smashed car window outside hotel). Hotel parking costs seem to be the norm in Portland. Large breakfast seating area - breakfast was popular and busy. I loved that there was a lovely restaurant on site. Our teen chilled in the room whilst we shared a bottle of wine in the restaurant watching the comings and goings on the street before heading out for dinner (we chose dining locations within a walk/scooter bike ride of hotel) We had a King bed and sleeper sofa (no complaints from our teen on comfort). Bathroom was light and modern. I did see the occasional homeless person but far and few between in this area and really nothing to be concerned about as a family. We see far far more homeless people in our downtown Vancouver, BC. Grocery store with wine across road. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location easy to park and a lot to do around the area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and rooms were clean. Only negative is there was a lot of kids if you are looking for more of a quiet adult getaway might not be the spot for you.

Excellent, top-notch staff. Great location. Wonderful If you are an traveling without kids, know that you probably won't get to use the pool. The families take it over with the little ones.

Great place for families, my 9 year old loved the pool. Staff was friendly and made check in quick and easy. Will definitely stay here again.

We showed up to our hotel and had an issue locating the reservation, the front desk staff were amazing and figured out how to get it fixed. The hotel is in a perfect location downtown. Great complimentary breakfast if you’re traveling with kids or for a budget.
