NO POOL. Its seasonal so may be open in the summer and that wouldn't be a big deal if I was traveling alone but I booked it so kids could swim on our way through. (All available info online says they have a pool.) Facility is nice. Pretty centrally located downtown. No one at the front desk answers phones. That was kind of odd and inconvienent having to go all the way down there to get information about anything.

We reserved our stay with Expedia. What we receiving wasn’t what was shown and the hotel took no responsibility saying it was an issue for us to take up with Expedia. I understand Expedia could have made the mistake but when you are at the counter with family and bags in tow what I need is a reasonable person to help me and make it right. I also blame Doubletree for using a third party service like Expedia to gain clientele but then don’t help when needed.

Hotel was nice and clean. Needed a plunger for our toilet called multiple times. No one ever brought one up. Went to check out when we left. One of my kids left their glasses up in the room called. They said someone that went up to look to see if they were there said they were not After an hour or so my wife and I went back to the hotel went up to the room with our key which still worked went into the room and our kids glasses were sitting there, right where we had told them they were

The staff was pleasant and the room was wonderful. My only disappointment is that I was not allowed to use the military discount because I didnt put it on my origonal reservation. There was nowhere to do that. I know they could override it. We had a huge family emergency didn't plan on the costs it would take. I just feel given the circumstances we would maybe be given an exception. We could have used the help. And still do.

The hotel has green tinted water. We had to get moved to a higher floor to help with the water quality. The staff was nice to accommodate. Our hotel room was comfy for our family. We were there for a business event during the weekend. The hotel makes you park in the structure. During our stay, we had to park in the hotel parking structure and our car got vandalized, window broken, emergency credit cards stolen, and cost hundreds of dollars in damage. The cost to park is about $30 a night and there was no security. The hotel can’t refund me our money because we reserved through 3rd party. I can’t contact hotels.com for a refund to help buffer the cost for the damage.

It was close to the things we wanted to do. Only two towels in the room for a family of four. Called down and asked for more. Two hours later had to walk down and get them myself. At checkout, no luggage carts available, unacceptable for such a large hotel. Had to walk all our luggage down ourselves making three trips. I will NEVER stay at a Double Tree by Hilton again. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel!
