Stayed here for one night and while the hotel is gorgeous, and located in downtown, we had issues right from the start. They only offer valet parking, which is an extra 55 (this should be stated when booking), and it’s in a parking garage with a 7 foot clearance. The hotel has no other parking, so you can pay for parking on the street which is 2 hours at a time and free from 7pm-8am (so you need to make sure you are gone by then). They do have 24 hour parking lots but not super close to the hotel, which the staff didn’t tell us about at all, we just happened to see them. Thankfully we found a spot on the street after 7pm. The room was pricey and super small. A family of 4 is definitely crammed in there. It was beautiful, but I couldn’t say that we would stay again.

What a great hotel! Good location and great people. We stayed in one of the loft rooms (family of 4-parents and 2-20 year olds) and we arrived late. The hotel messaged me knowing this and asked if we wanted the sleeper sofa bed made (how thoughtful). Fabulous coffee shop in lobby. This is a very quaint boutique hotel where you feel like family. I would definitely visit again.

The Woodlark is a lovely building and most of the finishes both in the lobby and in the rooms were nice and there is evident attention to design. However, this is not a family-friendly hotel. The rooms are very small for four people. There was also lots of construction going on around the hotel which started around 6 am. So I would ask before booking about this. The cafe when open offers excellent coffee, however, like many places there is a staff shortage which means you may have to seek coffee off-site.

Overall, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very small for our 4-person family. There was a ton of construction happening around the hotel beginning at 6-7a every day and it was really noisy. Also, the valet situation was a bit slow and tedious if you come up on a car.

The listing is incorrect. There is no onsite parking and therefore no electric car charging. This was a massive pain for my family as we chose this hotel for electric charging onsite. There is no onsite parking. They charge you $45 in valet to park your car in a parking garage 2 blocks down which costs $15 per day.
