I stay at The Nines every time I’m in Portland. As a child we shopped at M&F so it’s nostalgic for me. Bittersweet to see an iconic dept store now a luxury hotel. We had a major issue at check-in that impacted the entire trip. Manager resolved it but it tainted my trip. I travel to Portland several times a year. This was my third trip since November. I plan to be back in May but I may try to The Benson Hôtel instead.
