Hayward Inn

Every time my 10 yr old and i stay at Hayward inn, the staff is always amazing! With the medical issues involving cancer and other things im dealing with, they treat us like family! However, this time, our room was 45mins behind being ready due to the fact they had a bunch of athletes that were there the night before. It was out of their control, but, i was very tired and in a lot of pain.i will continue to go back to this Hotel as i said because of the girls in the front. I had asked for towels for the floor because of the shower and i guess the housekeeper forgot about us, i seen her on her phone quite a bit, so thats not good. Overall, they let us stay u til 1 the next day but im hoping for better outcome next time as im a single disabled mom and even though the room is fairly priced through expedia, i dont have money to waste. Morgan, Maddie, Maya, thank you for always going above and beyond for me and my babygirl!

I was in Eugene for difficult family stuff. My room here, overlooking the river, was a sanctuary. It was as comfortable and relaxing as it could possibly be. The people at the front desk were sweet and helpful.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with refrigerators and microwaves, and little balconies on each one. The location is super convenient to UO, and there is a little stream running behind the hotel -- we even saw a beaver! We appreciated the included breakfast and my kids loved the pool. I do wish there was a hot tub though, and the only other criticism is that the hotel consists of several different unconnected buildings so when it is rainy and cold (like it was when we were there), the walk to the pool isnt very fun. But this is very minor -- we have stayed here a couple times and would definitely stay again! Great value for the price.

Quick and efficient check-in. With an infant and toddler in-tow, the walk to our room with stairs was unexpected. Noticed the next morning at breakfast, there was a large group of girls - high school volleyball club - that was staying...figured they took the rooms that were in a closer building. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Beds were comfy. Pillows need some work. Shower was nice - great water pressure and hot water came around quickly. Outdoor patio was a hit with our toddler as she was enthused with the river and mallard ducks that were out. The indoor pool was good - tricky when you have a small pool and older kids playing. Breakfast was awesome - variety of hot and cold food items along with several hot and cold beverage items. Overall, all good. Would stay again.

We have 2 kids and 3 huge luggages plus a few hand carries. We arrived close to midnight and that was noted down when we made the reservation. They put us on upper floors with no elevator available. We had to do miltiple trips to being our belongings up in the rain. The toilet bowl was incredibly disgusting when we arrived. There was a dark brown stuff along the inside toilet bowl (seems like it hasnt been cleaned for ages). It it wasnt because it was raining outside and it was too late that the kids were exhausted and fuzzy and we had no more energy to move all the luggages to another room, we’d definately ask for a refund and go somewhere else!

We went to visit our kids at U of O. Great location,Friendly staff and great accomadations. Was able to bring our dog. So , overall we had a good trip

We picked this hotel because we were coming through Eugene, OR as part of a large roadtrip. We wanted something close to campus so we could walk around and see Hayward Field. The lobby is nice and the main building is new and clean. Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk and it took roughly 10 minutes for someone to reappear. She was apparently getting towels from another building. Our room ended up being in a separate building across the parking lot. The room itself was nice enough, although there were some ants in the bathroom. The hallways and stairs (three floors, no elevators with a toddler and dog) were definitely subject to the elements since it's an open air stairway. For our needs, it was fine. And I would assume anyone who is visiting Oregon's campus would love the proximity and walkability.
