The hotel is a convenient location to get to and from where you want to go. It was a little noisy from traffic for me, but not my family. The hotel felt clean and breakfast is ok. Although, our room was stuffy and dusty. It seemed like my family and I were battling allergies the whole trip. Taking allergy meds still didn’t help much. This wouldn’t be a hotel that I would come back to with my family.

The room smelled like dog and there's handprints and stains on the walls. The pull out couch had no blanket and only one pillow for it in the closet. I sent my husband down for a blanket and pillow since we had 2 kids sleeping there and were told to give them one of the ones from our beds. These pillows are toddler sized and rock hard and lumpy, and I usually sleep with a pillow between my knees because of an injury. We had 5 pillows for 5 people and were told any more were an extra accomodation and to go to Walmart and buy them ourselves. There's never a manager working and the front desk staff is just constantly on personal phone calls. The breakfast was good but the coffee was literally so bad we couldn't drink it. The shower was really nice for a hotel but that was its only redeeming quality.

Hotel room had baby roaches and egg shells. We asked to be moved rooms but they had none available. We ended up having the room refunded and stayed at a nicer hotel nearby. Overall the staff was helpful, but not overly concerned about the roaches (I am sure they were aware there was a problem). Would not recommend.

The whole place was dirty from the elevator to the room. Things were updated but clearly not kept up with. We relied on the pullout bed for the kids and there was one pillow but there were no extra blankets. The deadbolt didn’t work in the room. When I checked out they said there was no one in our room so it took longer to check out because they had to find where I was put in the system. Breakfast was garbage…no coffee and no waffle batter so it limited what we could have. Mind you, this was 6:30am and breakfast had just started. For traveling with kids, all I wanted was coffee and all 3 coffee dispensers were completely empty.

When we arrived and got the first key, the room on 2nd floor was occupied. Ask the 3 others in my family to wait here on 2nd floor, a housekeeper said that 211 was open. She knows she was just working that floor. Told front desk what HK had said and she put me in 213. Went back up. This door I was actually able to open up all the way, which was OCCUPIED also. I went back downstairs and asked her to Please give us 211. She did finally. I have stayed here before and complimented on their breakfast. The only thing good about that was the young man attending to the breakfast. And he was good. But only as good as he could be with the lack of breakfast supplies, food, etc.

This was second visit the first time was good so I decided to book here again the following weekend. This last visit is was noisy kids were running around the food was not fresh and looked messed over and uncooked especially the sausage. I could see unkempt areas of the hotel visible from the outside which was also concerning. I refuse to eat in a place that just throws anything together for me to consume. I expected better service but it got worse. Very disappointed in the unprofessional behavior of the staff. I waited for several minutes for someone to come to the front desk and when she came to check me she was not professional, she was slow and condescending in behavior much like the last time that I visited which is not okay. I do not recommend that she continue to work the front desk with a bad attitude.

Great place to stay when in the City for any event at the fairgrounds. Staff was very hospitable and the hotel was clean. I would suggest an increase in security. A few vagrants came in off the street to help themselves to the breakfast. Not a big deal if I had not had my children with me.

We were there to visit family and two ladies who worked at the front desk, Perla and Michelle, could not have been nicer and more helpful. Thank you to both! We will definitely stay there on our next visit.
