I had made the reservations for two family members. I used my card to hold the reservation with the option to pay there with the intention of my family members paying on their card. When they arrived the desk gave them a hard time because the card they were using wasn't the same as the card that the reservations were held with. Then they required a cash deposit but themanager the next dsy was reluctant to return the deposit.

Three cars were broken into and multiple families has their holiday presents stolen. Management did not contact me even though they knew earlier in the morning.

We were traveling through Youngstown with two of our teen-aged children. We checked in around 10:30pm. The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was quite nice. Our stay was what we expected from a Hampton Inn - we always have nice stays at Hampton Inn. I do have to say that the staff was extra hospitable at this hotel! I would recommend.

The Hampton Inn Youngstown-North was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive to my family. The only negative thing about my room was the bathroom had hair left in the shower from previous guest. Other than that my stay here was great.
