Hampton Inn Marietta

We had to come to town due to a family emergency. The staff was beyond understanding and helped accommodate our changing needs for extending our days.

Disappointing. The pool was closed during our stay, but no one communicated that in advance. Even during check-in, not one word about the pool being closed and I had two kids with me - obviously, they wanted to go swimming. We get to our room, change, and head downstairs to find a sign on the door to the pool stating it was closed. I asked the front desk clerk, who informed me the pump was damaged during a recent power surge and they were waiting on parts to fix it. That's fine, I get it, but no communication prior to or even during our stay?! Not acceptable. Do better, Hampton! My fault for booking a non-refundable room on Expedia. Lesson learned.

We had the room right next to the swimming pool which I thought was great for our kids. My husband enjoyed the work out area and the breakfast was excellent with a variety of food for everyone!
