My daughter and I decided to treat the kids to a night away, they loved their stay at the hotel, especially the pool.

The staff deserve raises/bonuses. How welcoming and friendly made my grandchildren so happy and to feel like special guests.

Booked this hotel for a volleyball tournament. Having 5 kids thought this would be a great spot due to having pool, hot tub and suits. Boy was I wrong! Upon arrival sign on front desk stating pool and hot tub were closed . Asked the lady working how long it has been closed for she stated it has been over a month..if that's the case that needs to be addressed when booking. She said their is no way to put it on websites....here's a solution while you're sitting there waiting for people to check in make phone calls to customers who have booked to let them know that the pool and hot tub is out of commission especially since it's been over a month.. our room was spacious but Def not queen size beds as they state they are..my husband and I are not big people and barely had any room . Bathroom shower drain was clogged with hair and barely drained .breakfast we great about the only nice thing .

This is our Go To hotel in town when we come visit family. This trip the pool and hot tub were not available. But they are typically a highpoint of the stay.

Stay was good except for Saturday morning when took grandkids to swim. 3 people in jacuzzi with 2-24 cases of beer and small bottles of other alcohol. Music deafening. Not family friendly environment at all for young children. Maintenance personell was in area and nothing done about it.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean and as described by the website. Hotel was built around 2012-ish so fairly new. Breakfast included was great, and had a waffle machine for making your own waffles which my kids enjoyed.

A great choice for our family, however, I'm always curious why if I book 3 rooms they are so far apart? Being closer would have been nice. But the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

We always stay here when visiting family. This visit was atypical of our usual stay due to a large turnover in staff. Training was in progress when we checked in. The main difference was that no one was constantly attending the breakfast area and at 8 am when we went to eat they had run out of regular coffee and eggs, and also the sausage gravy. The few biscuits availale were hard. We had to go to the desk and they were looking for someone to replenish everything but it seemed the people there hadn't been trained what to do yet. The next day was much better and I wouldn't hesitate to go back and give them another chance! Another thing I didn't like was there was a family there that brought their dog into the dining area both mornings we were there. This was not a service dog and the first morning it barked at and lunged at a guest leaving the room. It was on a leash and the owner reprimanded the dog and apologized for the dog's behavior. Dogs that are family pets shouldn't be allowed anywhere but in the hallways of the hotel or in their room and certainly not in the dining area and staff needs to enforce this.

We stayed for two nights to visit family and go to Blennerhassett Island. Despite seeing signs that rooms would not be made up unless you stayed 3 nights or requested service sooner ours was! Pluses were the extra outlets right near the beds for recharging your phoneand the reading spotlights that shined only on your book. Very nice, and a very good value!
