Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toledo West, an IHG Hotel

When we checked in I have kids and the pool was closed that was a big deal. The front desk worked it out & made it happen.

Literally will never return to this hotel. We spent the weekend here and had a little get together for the kids birthday, we went to go check out and they didn’t want to give me back my security deposit (which was $200) because the room “needed vacuumed and trash needed to be took out” and the front desk employee said “I’m not making my house keepers clean this room, u can’t get your security deposit back.” The night before I asked for bigger garbage bags to put my garbage in and I got small Kroger bags to use for trash, remind you we were there all weekend eating and drinking! Of course we had garbage to throw away with only TWO small garbage cans to use for 3 days!! I had all the dirty blankets contained in one spot, all the garbage contained in one spot, and all our dirty towels contained in one spot. We left the room as spotless as possible beside a dirty floor with crumbs on it from children, and a pile of garbage. Last time I checked it was the housekeepers duty to vacuum and take out garbage! I had to do both in order to get my security deposit back! I also have pictures of what the room looked like as we left, and what they made ME clean! So as a customer I did the house keepers work for them!!! So not happy!!!! 0 stars!!! Will never return!!!

Great stay. Only compliant is we was on the 3rd floor it was small children over us that ran around all night.

Plenty of room for our family of 5 with the queen suite also had my elderly mother with the wheelchair accessible room & bathroom was perfect

Requested an early check in (2:30 instead of 3pm), called when I was 30 mins away and they said they were unable to complete and I would need to wait until checkin at 3pm. Arrived at 3pm and was not able to check in until 340pm (with 4 kids in tow and anxiously awaiting to relax in a hotel room). Reheated 2 cribs and got 1 mini crib with no sheets.

The elevators were not clean and the noise level was not kept to a quiet level , room was nice but there was children making noise the entire night .

The staff was SO friendly, from the desk clerk who called me "Sweetie" when I phoned to ask about late check-in to the housekeeping staff who always greeted us with smiles and didn't rush our check-out when my toddler grandson overslept (bad night with teething). Everything was clean, everything worked - I don't take that for granted after a recent abysmal stay at another local facility! We will absolutely stay here again!

Wrong room provided upon check-in, we booked a double and got a single bed. I booked online third party so I get it, the person at the counter was polite. The elevator was dangerous with how much water was on the floors from the pool. The gym had used towels strung all over. The elevators and our floor as well as the exterior of the building smelled very strongly of marijuana which is unpleasant when traveling with children, regardless of legal status. Our Room was comfortable and clean. My biggest issue was the noise. All night until after 12:30am people were yelling in their rooms and in the hall, and running through the halls making it difficult to sleep. At 3:40am someone hit or kicked our room door so loud it sounded like a gunshot which woke my son and myself up, I was unable to get back to sleep. My son had a very important tryout the next AM. We travel extremely frequently all over the country for our 5 children’s athletic events, at least 2x per month. We have stayed at a Holiday Inn frequently and had very few issues at all. We do not typically complain, but We will not be staying at this location again when in the area.
