Comfort Suites Mason near Kings Island

Neighbor with a connecting door to our room was clearly under the influence of something and was consitantly slamming his door for hours. I complained to the front desk, who promised to fix the situation yet and hour after my complaint, the issue continued. At 12:30 am we decided to pack up and head home, and only after getting my two children in the car, did the front desk employee offer to move us to a different room. The said guest causing issues should have been removed but was not and was causing issues and potential danger to all around!

Booked this room for Kings Island trip. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely polite and very quick with check-in. He came out immediately upon me pressing the buzzer. Room was comfortable and bedding was particularly comfy for this class of property. TV was a bit small, but picture quality was very good and channel selection was decent (with HBO). WiFi was above-average for large property and had no problem streaming HD videos. USB ports next to bedside are a very convenient addition. Be sure to book the top floor if possible. Not the fault of management, but some inconsiderate person allowed their child to run or jump all over the room above me until nearly midnight. Shower had plenty of pressure and hot water, but a bit worn. Could use a little additional attention, but not all bad. Needs some caulking work. There are lots of eating options and a Speedway convenient store right next door. Kings Island is a 4 minute drive. Breakfast was not very good, but they did have waffles. The cubed egg product (cold) is a bad idea and they were not at all good. I would rather properties serve what they can do right within budget rather than include cheap items to try to fluff the menu. I would certainly return again. The price is clearly related to the location (during summer) since it is about the closest cheaper option by Kings Island.

I was amazed. The hotel was nice, clean, very comfortable bed, nice swimming pool, and the staff was very helpful and courteous. I will be staying at this hotel again while vacationing and family trips. Great hotel for kids and it right by the theme park.

it was close to where we needed to be with easy on off freeway access. It's right next to Kings Island so, lots of kids on the weekend but, otherwise very quiet.

I appreciated the gentleman who checked us in. I had called earlier that day to make sure I was in a handicap room. At that time, I wasn't. However, by the time we got there, I was assigned a handicapped room. We had also requested connecting rooms. They were also able to accommodate us with that. That was the good part. When we got in the room, I was not able to roll my wheelchair between the bed and the dresser, I was also not able to roll between the beds. Luckily, I'm able to walk some and was able to get around where I needed. I feel, for a handicap room, there should be extra room for medical equipment that might need to be used. We also chose not to allow the kids to swim because of the appearance of the pool. The water in the pool looked green and cloudy. It was also very small. Finally, we killed 2 centipedes in our room. Yuck!!

Everytime I left my room the key cars would stop working. Huge inconvenience getting to the room and having to go back to the desk to have reset. The staff was very rude about it each time. I ensuresls it was not near a phone or other cards and it still happened. After being out with 2 small children exhausted, get to the door and having to walk back to the elevator, go down to the front desk each time, then receive rude service while children holding many items was very frustrating!

Convenient location to our family. Located right by Kings Island. The room was clean but towels are thread bare/had holes. No regular coffee, just decaf in our room. The smoke alarm started chirping at 4:00 am. so the polite but unsure night desk clerk moved us across the hall (the towels in that room were also thread bare). Towels have to be exchanged at the desk, housekeeping must be requested, and only once was somebody at the desk (we stayed 3 nights). The breakfast room is crowded with tables and chairs very close together. Food of low quality. Yes, it was cheap, but not worth it.

Me being only 18 and finding a hotel near Kings Island was a difficult task knowing that i was traveling alone. Finding a hotel is scary by yourself due to the fact of finding a safe stay. I decided to pick this hotel and i was honestly suprised how convinent this stay was. After leaving kings island, i checked in and the clerk was very nice greeting me. Unfortunately there was a loud group of kids the saturday i stayed, so i dont blame the hotel there. My bed and room was clean. Woke up the next morning and had very good sleep then left. Would definitely stay again! Safe, clean, staff friendliness, and most importantly cost!

Only issue was the people in the room above us was extremely loud until early in the morning. Spoke with the gentleman at the front desk. He made a call and they calmed down enough for my kid to get to sleep. The staff was polite and professional. Room was clean and comfortable.

We selected this hotel, because it was close to Kings Island and the indoor pool looked nice. We planned to drive over the day before and enjoy some family time at the pool before a fun day at Kings Island. We opted against the pool, because it didn't look like the photos we saw on Hotels.com. The room was just okay, with the carpet in not that great of shape and the couch in our room seeing far better days. Not sure if this is a thing now, but the A/C in our room was off when we got there, so it took a little bit of time to get the room cooled down. The overall appearance of the room is kind of dark ... so dark that we didn't notice there was a coffee maker in the room. Turns out, both packets of regular coffee were actually empty. Something to note, the "free" breakfast is only from 7 am to 9am ... and they really shut things down right at 9 am. I only got coffee, but people seemed to be getting the waffles, eggs and sausage links. The wifi is probably on the slower end of the spectrum from when I've traveled. But this place is really close to Kings Island. Like probably less than a mile to the entrance.
