There was people blasting in pool area inappropriate music in front of other families children and then a homeless man walking around in building. I approached the desk clerk ,she was acting like this was a daily routine with him.

Only complaints are they kept running out of towels for the pool and the pancake machine wasnt working and kids where disappointed

The pool water was hazy and appeared unkempt. The shower in the room would not produce hot water. This was reported to staff and was suggested we change rooms. Changing rooms was not an option at 1am with 2 sleeping kids. Overall I would never stay here again.

I booked this hotel specifically because of the hot tub and drove over an hour for it and get there to check in and the hot tub is not working. It was NOT posted on their website or anywhere in the hotel except for yellow tape around the spa area. The second night of my stay a group of drunk people trashed the pool area, their kids were running up and down the halls knocking on doors scaring my grandkids and urinating in the halls while destroying property. Totally not a good time! I received nothing but "I'm sorry".

The hotel itself was nice. The downside was that it was NYE and there were arguing couples in the hallway all night and kids were everywhere…running up and down the halls even at 5am, took over the pool (literally no place to go in it without being jumped on or kicked etc). I called the front desk about the hallway bickering outside my door but nothing was done so I didn’t sleep very well. Set my alarm to wake me to go to the pool at 6am, pool hadn’t been cleaned from the night before (insert sigh here). So I packed up and went home.

Front Desk Staff was helpful and accommodating aside from day shift who seemed irritated and angry to have guests. Room was clean and amenities were actually real and in stock. Pool was clean and kid-frendly.

We stayed 3 nights here on our way to other locations. The accomodations were good. The pool was rather small, as was the hot tub, but they were adequate. The pool could have been a little warmer, and the water was cloudy. The free breakfast was good, and a huge bonus for people traveling with children. Nice, no-frills hotel.

The Holiday Inn Express in Toledo/Oregon was a real treat! It had a lovely large reception room and dining room with an excellent breakfast. We found the room to be very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children and we were pleased to find a writing desk with comfortable chair, a small refrigerator and a microwave. The indoor swimming pool was most pleasant, also. The hotel location, while not in the best neighborhood, was close to downtown Toledo via the interstate which was convenient for us since we attended an evening Mud Hens game there. I would recommend this hotel to other families or business travelers.

The location of this hotel is very displeasing! There is a liquer store that shares the same parking lot, not too mention a childcare center connected to that! Wow! The hotel itself is very old looking and definetly outdated, however I will say it was clean and well maintained. Just not a good spot for families to stay.
