Hampton Inn Columbus-South

Convenient comfortable stay when moving a child into their dorm at OSU. Close enough to school and close to shopping and restaurants.

Came up for a family trip and stayed three days at this hotel. I would give 10 ++ stars . The Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was very good. We definitely want to extend A big thank you to Elizabeth, thank you for making our stay wonderful it is people like you that keep guest coming back.. We definitely will be staying again when we're in Ohio.

We stayed two nights and it was very clean and easily accessible to local amenities and family.

Great property! Super staff, but some HS kids thought it was a great idea to dribble basketballs in the hall till midnight. This was much more a parenting problem than a hotel problem, but still security should cruise the halls once in a while!

The front desk staff and GM are horrible. We stayed there while traveling to Columbus for a softball tournament for our daughter. Other team members and their families also stayed here. It was my daughter's 16th birthday and when I asked if I could put a few decorations up for a photo op of her and her teammates, I was told I could as long as everyone remained quiet. This was at 6pm on a Saturday night and 11 16yo girls are not the quietest. Then around 9:30 that night, a group of the parents were hanging out in the lobby, when the front desk staff told them they had to leave or she was calling the cops. The cops were called and informed the parents that they were not doing anything wrong. The the GM showed up and started screaming at everyone. It was ridiculous and in no way shape or form did anyone feel welcomed by this establishment. Another teammate actually moved hotels due to their room smelling like cigarette smoke and the staff not doing anything to accommodate or assist them. I do not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here again.

The website stated there was a hot tub. No hot tub. The beds were awful to sleep in, multiple families took over the pool area while adults drinking and kids running around, kids running up and down hallways, no trash bags in hotel room, and property needs some extra attention to it for cleaning and upkeep.

Paid extra to stay at a hotel with a pool and hot tub. The hot tub was not working. The pool was cold and the room temperature in the pool area was very cold. Had kids with us just very disappointing

My kid had a great time in the pool and the wife and I just relaxed

It was a nice clean hotel, comfortable bed and good breakfast, The hotel was close to grocery stores, shopping, movie theater, and our family.
