Springhill Suites by Marriott Columbus Airport Gahanna

The only issue that we had with the hotel was that we had booked the room with a sofabed one of our kids and when we went to pull it out there was all sorts of trash inside the bed area. We couldnt find sheets and didnt find out that they were at the front desk until after our stay. He ended up sleeping on top of the cushions because we didnt know what was inside the bed. Otherwise everything was fine.

Easy to get to. Lots of food places near by. Clean and nice for a family.

This is an older property that has had SOME renovations but is still showing it’s age and is a bit run down in appearance. The under window wall style air conditioning unit was loud at times. The carpet in the hallways was dingy/dirty looking with obvious stains. We stayed for 5 nights and our room was only tidied up one single time. We had 2 adults and 2 kids so we had to wave down housekeeping in the hall for extra towels on more than one occasion. Used towels weren’t removed during our stay except during that 1 tidy up and we eventually started placing our trash out in the hallway so it wasn’t overflowing in our room. The employees were all very nice. The beds were comfortable. I didn’t understand the purpose of having a separate sink area but not providing soap/paper towels for that area. It was just okay. I probably wouldn’t choose this hotel again but I don’t necessarily know if there’s anything better in the surrounding area either.

We had a reservation booked through expedia. I got an email from springhill that it was time to check in. When I attempted to check in, I received a error message that they could not find the reservation. I called the morning of check in, to the hotel front desk and was assured that they had 2 rooms for us. At 9:30 pm I arrived with my 1 year granddaughter and family and was told that expedia made a mistake and their were no room. However, I received emails from Marriott and I talk to a springhill staff member, so I know that Springhill did have our reservation and did not honor it. This left us in a terrible bind. I am very dissapointed

I stayed for a few nights here with my family. We had a wonderful stay! The room was so clean and actually smelled clean! It was nice and quiet even though it’s so close to the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great takes no time at all to get downtown Columbus. I wish they had a small pool so the kiddos could play. I would definitely stay again!

Great area, not far from a lot of places in Columbus, Nice place overall, outside patio we took advantage of on some nice days. Breakfast included is always a plus and plenty of parking. Not great- 3 peices of hair found, even if your room doesnt need refreshed your usally offered clean towels (we weren't), the toilets are for children and little people, the Ice Machines on Floors 2 and 3 are broken. The thermostat was broken so its 85 outside and 85 in the Hallways. I listed a few things I didnt like but dont let that overshawdow this is a nice property and I would stay here again in a second.

Loved the mattress, was there due to a death in my family. For the first time in greater than a week I was able to sleep.
