The staff here are approachable. They were very proactive, kind and helpful when we needed some emergency medical care for a family nember. The area was great for our shopping needs and felt very safe.

The elevator is out of order and apparently has been for a long time. We came to shop and it was very inconvenient and a hassle, plus one member in our family has a bad knee and the stairs were hard on her. If we had known no elevator, we would not have stayed here

We had a family emergency and I booked the Sure Stay because it said it was refurbished recently and was a reasonable price through Hotels.com. I believed it would be cleaner. It was clean. The staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.

Too noisy and light shining right into the room. There were no curtains, only sheers. Pipes in the walls made banging noises. Footsteps above were loud, hallway noise was loud. A bus came at midnight so I had to listen to everyone unload for 45 minutes. The second night, there was some sort of construction that started after midnight and I had to turn on a sound machine to drown it out, as I could hear the beeping of a truck reversing for over an hour. Even my husband, who sleeps deeply, barely got any sleep. My 2 young kids were woken multiple times. I have literally never slept so horribly in a hotel. I don't understand no blinds with huge lights in the parking lot.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. We had to ask to be relocated to another room after finding dog hair all over the room. The room we got relocated to had no soap. Fridge sounded like a loud baby's heartbeat in an ultrasound and lampshade is cracked. Pretty raunchy. Too much air freshner spray too in the room, makes the lungs heavy.

Had a great stay. The rooms are clean. It’s an older building with some areas that you can see the age, but they’re doing a good job keeping it clean and functional. The pool was closed for maintenance when we arrived but was open the next day. It was quiet and the temperature was absolutely fantastic for small kids. Nice and warm, and clean! Breakfast is basic, but you can find something to eat. An issue beyond the hotel- but each piece of bread is individually wrapped in plastic and takes on a bit of plastic taste but we also noticed this at a different hotel in the same city. I would stay here again.

This is not the hotel to book your wife and kids into. The cleaners use solvents that are indescribably heavy scented. Our bathroom wasn’t cleaned. Someone’s shaved leg hair was in our tub.

The pool was over run by kids and teenagers who were rude and vulgar to the smaller children. The atmosphere wasn’t welcoming or safe. I would stay somewhere else next time.

Considering covid, I would stay at this hotel again. Yes, there seemed to be limited staff which caused the hotel to be lacking in the cleaning department. However, overall the place was fine. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, there were a couple hot food options to go with the complimentary breakfast. The room was nice and a decent size. This hotel is almost in the same parking lot as the mall. My biggest complaints were likely covid-related: just wasn't clean. Sheets didn't seem clean, bathroom had dirt and hair, hallway hadn't been vacuumed. We had no cloths or a bath mat in our room. If it wasn't covid times, I would say this is unacceptable but this just seems to be how things are now. The pool was warmish but it was very small. There were people talking in the hallway after we went to bed and it was very loud. Honestly, I paid $88 Canadian a night so the good things were worth that money, since we were just there to sleep and swim with the kids. I would try a different hotel next time just due to the cleanliness but I would definitely stay here again if they get their staffing/cleaning issue under control.
