Booked a room with a king bed and a pull out couch with a double bed. Got checked in and put our things into the room. The front staff guy seemed stressed out but it was busy so I get it. We came back to the room at 9:30pm and pulled out the bed part of the couch and there was no mattress, it was missing. I call down and tell the guy and he says what do you want me to do?. I say find me a mattress or change rooms? He than brings me up a crappy single mattress which only could fit one kid on it. I won't be booking there again and would strongly suggest you don't either! The pool and place was showing it's years and lack of up keep.

Just after we got settled into our room, another couple was also given our room, and tried to enter so that caused a little confusion but was settled easy at the front desk. The pool area is older but perfect for little kids with wade entry and 3 feet deep max! Quiet area!

The property was good. The staff was not. We booked a kind suite with pull our sofa- there’s no mattress in the sofa. Our kids shared a twin roll out. When I tried to call down about the issue the no one would answer. I had to call the landline over and over to finally get someone. Getting service from the front desk was impossible because no one was in their station

Arrival: We arrived at the hotel just after 7pm and found the front counter completely vacant. I rang the bell twice, nothing. I waited for about 10 minutes, wondering if maybe I could find a phone to CALL the hotel to find someone….and finally a staff member arrived. No apology. No greeting. It took a few minutes to bring up our reservation but we were checked in eventually. No communication regarding breakfast times or mention their pool was closed. Amenities and Room: Pool is closed and we were not told. Our kids were looking forward to swimming!! Room is spacious and has a lot of room for our family of 6. Pull out bed is lumpy and could use a topper to maybe soften the bars and springs. The room has 2 TV’s which the kids like. Lobby and dining areas are in need of a good vacuum and several garbages are full. Room to front desk call didn’t work, so I had to come downstairs to get extra blankets.

Went for a night away decided to give this one a shot. Check in was slow. Room was good spacious fairly clean.... there was food left in fridge from previos guest. pool was nice until about 10 min in after getting there, probably about 40 kids came in and were running around screaming only 3 adults in the pool area. All other parents where sitting outside building drinking. There should be adult supervision!! And it should be enforced We had a small baby that we had to take back to room as she probably would have got hurt being in pool with those children! Outside the front entrance of hotel another 20 or so people drinking right beside front door when i ran out to my car. In the morning there was absolutely nothing in the beakfast area. Not even cream or sugar... couldn't believe there was no one working in this area. Garbage everywhere. Dont think we will be back!

We stayed over Hostfest in Minot from September 28th - checking out October 1st. Hotel prices were inflated for this period. I came with my wife and 19 month old daughter and were wishing to have a functional pool / hot tub. On September 29th, our 1st day was good. Breakfast was good and hot food plentiful in the morning, discovered, the hot tub and pool were cold. We took our daughter to the shallow end of the pool and she had fun until she got too cold. I noticed the chlorine smell was really strong in the air and near the end of her play was beginning to irritate my lungs. On September 30th, we got up for breakfast at 8:15am, and hot food was running out, although we got our share. Anyone later than 830-845am likely would have gone without. We discovered the pool still cold and hot tub still out of order, but took our daughter in the pool anyways. Our daughter had fun however we didn't stay long. The air we soon discovered was so inundated with chlorine, we soon had to leave because all these of us left the pool hacking and coughing from the poor air from the intense chlorine smell. On our last day at 8:10am, they ran out of hot food. Given the high price we paid, with the above issues this was not worth it. Don't recommend for families for hostfest.

We got into our room and fridge would not work. I had to pull cabinet out, plug it in, and set the temperature. Then I went to take bath and there was brown stuff all over front bottom of tub. Looked like crap, but it was where someone was washing their dog, probably, and the dog clawed the finish off the tub. It was rust so I phoned the front desk and told them about this mess and she knew about it but said the hotel didn't have the chemicals to get the rust off. Then it was toilet time. Flushed the toilet and bowl would not fill and water kept on running down the drain. So, I took the lid off and fixed that. The next day Saturday we went shopping and came back and I noticed a cleaner looking up at the ceiling, and water was dripping through a light. Bedding and beds and pillow were very comfortable, and it was quiet, and even though we were right beside the elevator, we never heard any noise. Both days hot breakfast was great. However, I was kind of shocked at the number of adults and children who came down in their PJ's for breakfast because some of it not a pleasant sight. Then the dog show started. People had their dogs on 15 foot leashes and maybe should keep them on shorter leases when in a crowd of people for better control and safety? Then I see this big muscular dog walk though the front doors because they opened automatically and he wasn't even on a leash. He went to leap over the front desk but stopped when owner yelled. Please keep dogs on leash for safety!

The staff had no idea what was going on. Our family had two rooms reserved and they could only find one. They insisted I booked wrong and struggled bouncing between their different reservation systems to find me. Then they find the second and someone had checked into it. Returned for the second set of keys and was told I had to go back to first room for my ID. We had just spent 12+ hours on the road and this added an hour to bedtime for the kids. Staff had no concern about the delays. I later tried to purchase some water from the front desk. After waiting around for a staff member to actually show up, they had no idea how to ring me out. They acted like the CC machine was some mystical device they’d never seen or used. Breakfast so-so. It was warm and they didn’t run out.
