Sierra Inn Minot

Most everything was average. Our carpet had dirt clumps and the bathroom had hair all over the floor. The staff were nice and check in and out was great. This really bothered me!There were some children under 10 or 12 who were cleaning rooms in the morning when went to checkout.

Our trip was a trip from hell at the Sierra Inn. We have stayed there many times and never had this experience. First asked for a room close to elevator as have walking issues We were put in room 234 at the end of hall. We booked 2 rooms and wanted adjoining rooms. We didn't get that either. The front desk employee had her grandkids there in the moring. Clothes, shoes, etc all over the front lobby sitting area. I love to go get the paper and read it while waiting for family members to finish breakfast Could even get to the papers. Kids also had tv full plast which was very unpleasent and laying on the back of the sofa and chairs like a bunch of monkeys. We didn't pay to come to a day care Very disappointed

Hotel was cheap for reason, hotel looked like it was run by family. No service to room other fresh towels. Deluxe breakfast was totally deceiving. Pool was slimy on the far left deep end. Hotel was not willing to accommodate a one hour late check out and felt it necessary to point out they would charge if they had a full house. Definitely don't stay here, they need to hire professional staff and qualified housekeeping and maintenance staff.

It was convenient the price was right and it served our purpose staying there for six nights visiting family.

Mixed bag review. On the positive side . . . quiet room and comfortable bed. On the negative side . . . room needed a good cleaning - base of lamp next to bed, telephone handle coated in a sticky residue; breakfast VERY basic/limited range of items; and observed young children playing in pool without adult supervision-one child was hurt (cut in head that was bleeding) and when attempt was made to find a hotel staff member no one was available.
