Baymont by Wyndham Grand Forks

The room we had was okay. I'm somewhat picky when it comes to hotel rooms. This was pretty good considering the low price. I had some issues though. I kept finding ants in the pool area, and ended up having one in our bed but i think it was transfered from the pool area because I never saw another one in the room. The shower was really slow to drain, I hate standing in dirty shower water. The room had a funky smell, I went and bought a candle so that helped. The window lock was broken. Hotel staff was super helpful, friendly and great to my kids. With the exception of one man... he checked us in and didn't tell me anything about breakfast, amenities or where the room was. He also was VERY rude anytime my husband or I approached with with questions, we definitely felt like an inconvenience to him. If you don't like dogs, don't stay here. Almost all the guests had a dog. Housekeepers checked in with us every day and we switched out towels with them and they took the trash. We asked them to change the sheets one day, and they went above and beyond cleaning up and switching out towels.

There was glass in the parking lot when we arrived and I was trying to give my babies a bath and the water would not turn on. Room 224

What a nice hotel - one of the best we’ve stayed in for a long time. The staff - every shift were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very spacious, the breakfast was great. Loved the pizza/chicken place attached to hotel. Very reasonably priced and quick service. The pool is small compared to some hotels, but our family preferred that because we were able to spend time in it as a family and have fun together. The hot tub and pool were both clean and in working order. Sheets, tub and toilet were all clean. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Overall our experience was great. The room was super spacious, very clean, and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site thats open very late, so late nught food cravings can be satiated. The complimentary breakfast was honestly the best I've had at hotels. So many food options, and everything was always stocked. My only issue was when checking in, the lady at the desk spoke to fast and wasnt welcoming. Kind of felt like she was bothered by checking guests in. There was one man in front of me and then a family member checking in after. And we all felt she was a bit unkind. But overall, we were very happy with our stay and will be returning the next time we are in Grand Forks.

I would recommend this hotel for either business or families.

Was able to change my room to different floor where other family were at. Staff very friendly and helpful.

kids loved the breakfast

Located close to everything, and lots of parking. Pool is super warm, kiddo loved it. Could be cleaner for sure. There was food left from previous people in our room.
