Cambria Hotel Raleigh - Durham Airport

Don't understand why the Pool is not available, full of water, but was given 2 different excuses why it was not available. (Was traveling with grandkids)Selection of food for breakfast could have been better. Pictures were a little deceiving, 1 room wasn't ready, but they moved us down the hallway.

Sent me to a room the had not been cleaned. Second room was not what I booked for. Room was cold and could not warm up and was not what I booked. General appearance was shoddy. Must have just be taken over by new management. Bar restaurant service not in operation. Lobby area was noisy with people and children who did not seem to be guests. Decided to cancel the reservation and had to find another hotel. Would never go back.

power outage on the morning we were supposed to be going to a funeral. not even the exit signs were lit up which is against code. when asked about it the staff said weather even though it was barely raining so they lied, clearly. the breakfast was inedible, crusty pancakes, slimey sausage, chemical cereal and yogurt. the bar is closed bc they lost their liquor license, pool and hot tub closed for "maintenance" which is a lie. when waiting downstairs for our other guest to find her way downstairs in the dark, we overheard a man at the desk saying how cold his shower was and again, the front desk said it was the weather. everything about this hotel given to some kids by mommy and daddy is just awful, stay away and just pay the extra money and stay somewhere else, not worth it.

All the vending machines were empty even the snack/soda float up front was bare. Was told it hadn’t been serviced in months. Shuttle was useless had 3 large families all going to airport at same time with one driver in small vehicle 2 families had to make other arrangements to get to airport on time.Poorp planning on hotels part. Would not stay here again if I needed to be somewhere on time.

Room is clean and big enough for my family of 4 so comfortable

The walls were paper thin and I could hear the crying child in the next room all night long. the lampshades were all cracked and broken. The office chair at the desk was incredibly worn out. But, the bathroom looked new'ish, it was clean, the coffee machine worked and the people were nice. It's just an old building and it needs some work.

Property checkin was easy! Suite was very large for the money spent . . .in the morning we needed a shuttle and though it didn’t appear when it was scheduled, the front desk staff took me and the family to the terminal and we didn’t miss our flight, or pay anything for an Uber / taxi! Who does that? Excellent service!

The hotel has potential to be a budget-friendly option for a quick weekend stay but the hotel management has clearly set low expectations of it's staff to maintain cleanliness and simple maintenance. The pool was so cold that our kids lips started turning purple and the hot tub heater was broken. As a family of 6 staying in a "suite," there were not enough blankets at the front counter for everyone, as well as stocked towels. Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the bathroom was disappointing with dust on shelves and towels that smelled of fish. Overall, I recommend skipping this underwhelming budget-friendly hotel and treat yourself to higher expectations.

Upon arrival, there were two customers waiting in the lobby for rooms. One customer had been given a room and said it was dirty and smelt like weed. The other said she opened the door and someone was staying in the room assigned to her. There was no front desk person. The shuttle driver was attempting to man everything. Thankfully our room was unoccupied. Had the door locked and the dead bolt set and hinge locked. Around 1:15am someone tried to come into our room while we were sleeping. Needless to say, my family and I won’t be staying at this hotel anymore.
