This charming Retreat is comprised of two separate rooms and a bathroom. There is on large studio room with a king-sized bed, as well as a fully equipped kitchenette, cozy seating and dining areas, a 43" flat screen TV, cable, and Wi Fi. The second room has two twin beds and 2 comfy chairs. Both sleeping areas have an Armoire, exterior windows with daylight shades, and privacy doors. The bathroom has a large double sink counter, shower/bath combination, hair dryer, and fully equipped with toiletries, plush towels and washcloths. There is a wall thermostat in the Retreat enabling the guests to control the air or heat. We also provide a heater, fan, extra pillows and blankets. Our Retreat is decorated with local art and a modest library. Guests have no steps from their car to the entrance or in the Retreat itself. There is a labyrinth of steps if you desire to take an optional stroll down to the babbling brook.
You will have access your own back porch with table and chairs overlooking a wooded area and a serene mountain brook. Perfect for having a hot or cool drink and enjoying the abundant beauty of the natural surroundings. You'll also likely see your fair share of wildlife, including deer and neighborhood wild turkeys. The property is located in close proximity to the Biltmore estate, Sierra Nevada, Flat Rock, and Tryon with fabulous hikes, zip lining, charming walks, and other outdoor activities nearby.
The house is non-smoking and will be cleaned once a week. The instructions on entering Mountain Brook Retreat will be given two days before arrival.
Located in Hendersonville, this resort is in the city center and in the mountains. Johnson Farm and Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Team ECCO Ocean Center and Aquarium and Mineral and Lapidary Museum. Traveling with kids? Consider Elijah Mountain Gem Mine and Asheville's Fun Depot. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
