Fairfield Inn by Marriott Rochester East

The pool area must have been having a kid bday party. The guest were loud and rude with music playing loud. The kids were running and jumping in the pool with water, guns and beach balls, and Floaties. The guest also had alcohol in the pool area. I arrived for check-in and seen the party in the pool area went up to my room, waited some time to allow the pool area to clear and two hours later the party was still going in which I tried to get in the pool and had to call front desk Due to inconvenience

Kids in pool unsupervised the oldest kid was about 10 years old and youngest was about 2. Running and jumping it was horrible never again.

An evening staff (women) accused me of leaving my children unattended in the weight room. I was with them the whole time. And our room was too damn hot! The air was set at 65 and it still registered at 77 degrees the whole time!

The pool was warm and comfortable but very small. There were 7 kids and the pool was completely full. There is a Dairy Queen, Taco Bell, BK, and Starbucks in walking distance. Continental breakfast was great, and staff was friendly. Hotel is outdated and a little dingy, but we enjoyed our stay and thought it was great for the price and location.

Our TV would not work. IT was on but we couldn't select anything on the TV. I went to the front desk but all he could offer was a different remote which was not the issue. I did have a child with me so made it kind of difficult to entertain them especially since we are used to TV to fall asleep. Shower was hot in the evening but 6 am was cold and would not warm up

Disappointed in the breakfast. Was showed differently then what was presented. When traveling with kids, it can be a disappointing surprised.

We stayed here 2 years ago and it was a decent experience. This time was not great. The second floor is pretty rough. It looked beat up and dirty, and the weed smell was so bad every time we stepped out into the hallway was so bad that I thought my kids might get a contact high. The room itself wasn't too bad, but could have been cleaner. And the beds were uncomfortabe.The tub did not drain, and filled with water when taking a shower. Not to mention the hair in it that my husband had to clean out. The sink also wouldn't drain. My kids were super excited to swim in the pool (which we didn't get to use our first time staying here) but were soon disappointed when we stepped into the room. They do provide clean towels at the pool, which was nice. But the pool is really small! There were maybe 10 kids in the pool and 8 adults sitting in chairs around the pool and it felt packed. The kids basically stood in one spot in the pool, until everyone else left around 8:00pm and we were the only ones left. The breakfast in the morning was okay. Bagels, muffins, oatmeal, toast, yogurt. No fruit. They did have premade breakfast sandwiches, but they needed to be heated up and this creates issues when there's only one microwave. And the breakfast area was also really small. Coffee was good. The staff was nice and pleasant. Luckily, our stay was only for one night so it was tolerable.
