Customer service neutral. Entering the hotel was not welcoming. The grounds were shabby and weedy. The inside was clean. The room itself was clean and bed comfortable. It was fine for what we needed. It’s an old hotel. Excellency coffee cafe and Italian take out right across the street. That was so nice. A gas station also was across the road. If I had my family I would have been very upset to hear that the pool was down.

We have stayed at this property in the past and always had a great experience This time was not the same! The grounds are not kept up, the sliding door to enter was not working and had to be manually opened by an employee. The rug in the vestibule was wet so when you stepped in to the tile it was very slippery I had called for an early check in was told 2:30 was ok. The employee that checked me in actually looked at his watch before checking my reservation. The rug in the room felt wet. We were given a handicap accessible room, which I stated we did not need and the door to our room did not shut unless pushed hard for the lock to hook. I found this very in safe especially because we were traveling with kids.

Awful customer service. This place would not give me any (even partial) refund, even though I accidentally booked 2 rooms. My family only used one -so didn't use the other. Still ZERO refund. And they kept trying to book me into the other room, even though I said I didn't need it multiple times. Tried to hand me keys and everything. Incrediblely bad

Not an upscale vacation destination, of course, but a great place to stay when picking my child up from an area university. The property is a bit out of town and near Buttermilk Falls State Park (a worthy inclusion on your itinerary). Inside the property is clean and well kept. My room was spacious and comfortable, though a tad bit dated. The staff were friendly and helpful, although not uniformed or wearing name tags so a little hard to identify at first. Outside, the parking area could use some work with potholes and broken pavement giving a less than favorable first impression. The morning breakfast bar was pretty standard in its offerings but well tended and stocked and everything was fresh. My only negative experience is that apparently someone else was also keyed for entry to my room because around 10:30 pm I almost had an unintended guest. A good reason to keep that little safety latch in place at night! I received an apology from the staff, of course. Other than that, I will definitely stay here for future trips. The rate was very competitive and the facilities more than adequate for a quick stay.

The staff was super friendly. The room was OK the toilet was dirty and needed a plunger after every use. The walls seemed paper thin I could hear everything. It was very loud with teenagers running up and down the halls and up on the second floor. The pool was also closed with no warning normally the hotel calls the day before your stay and let's you know the pool is closed but they didn't. My kids was very disappointed in that.

Really big room for the family. Only complaint was the humming of equipment outside of the window

I booked this hotel for the pool, as my 4 grand kids had skied all day at Greek Peak and wanted to relax before our trip home. NO POOL and it had not been available for 6 months. I did not check in and took the crying kids home. Parking lot had pot holes all over and lobby was dingy.

The pool was closed which was very disappointing to my children. They packed all their swimming gear and all. The shower was cold/lukewarm at best. Many upgrades needed within the room(red sitting chair was disgusting) and facility.

The property was decorated beautifully for Christmas! Most staff was very helpful, but Sunday morning desk and breakfast staff was completely inflexible when we asked if our kids who had to get to a swim meet could eat breakfast 5-10 mins early. Also our toilet and shower were broken, the carpet has lots of stains, and some lamp switches did not work. We came back at night and all of a sudden our keys no longer worked. Pool was broken down and walls were very thin so it was noisy!
