Hilton Garden Inn Ithaca

My family and I had a great time and loved the location of the hotel. We stayed in the newer rooms and my only suggestion would be for the cleaning staff. I would suggest for them to clean more then the sheets. When we arrived there were potato chip crumbs on the desk and on the floor. And in the bathroom I don’t think the vanity gets wiped down often as there was mold in the sink and chunks of something stuck on the vanity.

Great for family, clean, nice staff.

We liked the property, what we didn’t like was what was allowed to go on in the hotel : swimming pool- guest had brought beer, pizza and speakers for old music and allowed to “party” in the pool area, why this was allowed, not sure, but wasn’t a great environment for kids to swim. Dogs barking in neighbors room. And, when we checked into our room, we were given a wheelchair accessible room, we politely said we didn’t request this when we were given a choice when booking the property. Hotel clerk told us even though we didn’t request this type of room, we should have called them in advance to tell them “ we do not want a wheelchair accessible room”. So I guess our original reservation wasn’t enough for them, we should have called and said “ hey, we just want to remind you that we weren’t kidding when we said we didn’t want a wheelchair accessible room’. Just a wonderful hotel clerk!

The inconvenience of the location is no attached garage that makes it challenging for guests driving in with families to bring in their bags etc

Overall, great experience. Perfect for our family vacation. The pool was a plus and the staff was very friendly!
