DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet

Brook, was the start of it all. I originally booked a stay for me and my family at a near by Hampton inn by Hilton and checked in on 7/4/24 and was supposed to stay until 7/7/24. I checked out right away the very next day on 7/5/24 because I had an awful experience. The pool at the Hampton inn had a crack in the tile that my 4 year old daughter almost cut her foot on after she tripped over it. The free breakfast was a joke. The elevator didn’t work when checking in so we had to carry everything up to the 2nd floor and there was a junkie just hanging in the lobby area. There is many more finding but Brook on the other hand at the Double tree by Hilton made our guest experience phenomenal. The breakfast was amazing for me and my family, the room was very cozy. No floss with the pool area. All staff were just great and the other staff member or manager working aside with Brook checked in with us to see how all was going. This is true guest experience. I will be back.

Asked for four or five towels and they gave me two, for a family of six

Clean and quiet, loved our stay and the kids had a good time too.

We had a lower level room for $505 where we saw tires. Some other families had nicer rooms. Disappointing!

They were so hospitable. My family of 7 could not be more than comfortable here. Delicious, abundant breakfast and all the staff are polite and so kind to my excited children. They welcomed our pets and we fully enjoyed our valet parking. Thank you!

Good stay. Pool was nice for kids

This was the second time staying here. We appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel room and pool/gym facilities. Pool was crowded and we were told not to have more than 4 people in the hot tub, which makes sense but no one was enforcing it. We love the hot cookie upon checking in! So delicious. We ate dinner in the restaurant that evening. The food was OK much like a Applebee’s or diner wish there was more variety and drinks. The next morning we had forgotten that the breakfast was pay and not free Continental, which was disappointing. And 16 bucks a person is too much for one family when you could just pop out to something outside. Luckily they had a few muffins and coffee for purchase to tie us over till we could leave. It’s not a dealbreaker about coming again, but we would love for them to have a cheaper or free breakfast. The beds are not the softest and do shift around a lot. If you have two people in the bed, you really feel it but the linens were superb and the towels in the bathroom, big and soft I appreciate the environmentally friendly lotion, shampoo containers in the bathroom. Otherwise staff is super friendly and helpful. we would come again.

Overall we had a good time but the restaurant on site was horrible, would not recommend eating there. The pool was nice for the kids and it was close for our gymnastics competition

Check in was just perfect! Truly friendly she even received me and my kid with water and an amazing oven baked cookie really delicious! Our room was cleaned, beautifully detailed in the bathroom and everything so comfortable. Pool hours are 8:30am - 9:30pm which we really enjoyed. I found odd (never saw that before in a hotel) that every two hours pool guy came to check the quality of the water but I guess that was really necessary I found out that my skin wasn’t irritated like most of the times before. It’s going to be my new spot!
