We booked this hotel Friday night, seeing a pool was available for our kids. I called the next morning and was told the pool was temporarily closed, and they would call me at 1030am to let me know if it would be open. We arrived at 2 pm for an early check in, and the pool was still closed. We were ensured it would be open and the manager was out getting chlorine. At this point I wouldn’t let our kids swim in the pool bc there was NO way the chlorine levels were right if they had only just put the chemicals in 2-3 hours prior. We didn’t want to risk the kids getting sick from too much h chlorine or not enough. The manager had offered a refund of the pool Didn’t open, and I’d like a refund at this point because the pool was not in fact open like she had confined with me on the phone at 1030am. I would have booked a room at a different hotel.

We were in town for family reasons and needed a place to stay. Hotel was near restaurants and our venue.

I was in Troy for a family birthday. My time at the hotel was minimal but enjoyable. Breakfast was very good and the front desk staff very helpful. The room was clean and rather large. I enjoyed my time there!

We have stayed for a full week every April for the last few years. We fell in love with the experience and incredible staff a few years ago and have decided it was worth passing over other deals to stay here. Unfortunately this year was a completely different experience. We didnt recognize any of the staff, which was a shock since over the years we had become familiar with many, some even remember our kids by name and that we were there for our sons birthday week. The staff this year seemed uninformed and very rude. We had to ask multiple people to get things our room was missing like towels and an ice bucket and the front desk was almost always empty. Our son went to use the bathroom in the pool on Sunday evening and came out saying he couldn't use it because it was overflowing. We let someone know but by the time we went to bed friday (5 full days later) it was still overflowing and hadnt been cleaned. We told the front desk and they locked it after that. Our refrigerator wasnt working and the AC was so loud we thought it might explode, maintenance came the 2nd day of our stay to fix it and the house keeper came with him to talk for him, he didnt speak english but did a great job and was honestly the most friendly of the staff we encountered this trip. After 4 years of spending our sons birthday week here, this years experience has us looking into other arrangements for next year. Im not sure what happened, but the overall entire hotel has changed and not in a good way.

Convenient to I90, quiet room, fast check-in, nice fitness facility, indoor pool was a plus for kids
