Comfort Inn & Suites East Greenbush - Albany

was there for kids graduation from long island, so our stay was excellent, comforting and friendly

This property seems on the newer side and the lobby and breakfast area are very nice. However once you get into the room, it is another experience. Our door looked like it was broken into at some point the door was damaged on the outside by the lock and the bottom of the door on the inside. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off and the fan barely worked. The carpet didn’t look like it was vacuumed. The beds were comfortable though. The door to the pool didn’t accept the room keys so you had to get someone from the front desk to let you in. We tried to use the pool but a group of young kids (15) and their parents decided to have a pizza party poolside. The kids took over the entire pool playing with a big beach ball and were jumping into the pool between my child and I. The parents had no care about the safety of the kids or us in the pool. They just let them go wild. Breakfast was good but the coffee machine was broken.

Great place to stay for a night with the family!

Hotel was closed. Power out and the sprinkler system had gone off. Gentleman at the desk was trying to find all the guests a place to stay for the night. Luckily we had family to stay with. We will go back another time.

Everything was great, but they suddenly closed the pool! I selected this hotel specifically for the pool so my grandchildren could swim. While it might have been unavoidable, maybe some preventative maintenance could have fixed the problem before ALL kids were on winter break.

I had an excellent stay. The hotel was one of the nicest I've stayed at recently and I travel a lot. Comfortable large room...easy check in and out...great location for family visit...very good breakfast

Always choose to stay here when I visit family. Nice to be able to have breakfast!

The TV in our room didn't work. Could have just needed batteries for remote. Didn't complain since kids just played on tablets instead. Was supposed to be 2 queen beds but got 2 double beds instead. Hotel is undergoing revamping (2nd floor completely closed off except for breakfast area) so maybe that is why.
